Vermutlich, denn an dem Patch habe ich schon lange nichts mehr gemacht und von den Rechtschreibfehler wusste ich bis eben nichts ^^

Unglücklicherweise wird durch das aktuelle Steam Update eine Überarbeitung des Sprachpakets nötig. Der Steam-User AbbAUbaR hat freundlicherweise in Steam in meinem Release Post hierfür bereits den entscheidenden Hinweis für den Fix gegeben: Steamcommunity.com Im Laufe des Tages werde ich ein entsprechendes Update hochladen.

For all of you struggling with problems to run SuddenStrike II under Win8, I wanna share with you a workaround I've found that worked like a charm for me.

### Problem: Error message if you start SS2 v2.2.

VStart Error: Can't load n2Menu_dll.dll: 126

Even if its said in most forums, that it is a well known problem, the fixes they provided don't work on Win8, neither for me nor for friends of my.

### Solution:
1. Copy the setup.exe from your SS2 CD or whatever, to your main directory of SS2 e.g. "X:\Games\Sudden Strike II"
2. Instead of running the game with "game_exe.exe" out of "\Sudden Strike II\game\code\Release" or a shortcut to it, which fails in the error message above, run the game with "X:\Games\Sudden Strike II\setup.exe"
3. A dialog should appear asking you to choose between "reinstall" or "start"
4. Choose "start" and the game should start normaly. Perhaps you need to maximize the window of SS2 manually.
5. Maybe create a shortcut to your setup.exe, to avoid navigating each time to your game location.

### If you are using the MultiModSwitcher to select and start mods do the following steps:

IMPORTANT: If you want to switch between 2 different mods, you have to choose "fix config" first.

6. After a restart of the MMS the vanilla version of SS2 should be selected automatically.
7. Choose your mod you want to play out of the dropdown menu
8. Don't do anything else in the MMS
9. Run the game as described in the step 2 to 4 and the game should start with the selected mod.
