Truck Cemetery is rather memory-hungry, as far as I'm aware. Personally, I never had any problems with it, but your mileage may vary.
Also, leave the zombie alone! He just wants some privacy.

Maybe I should install the Dynamic Factions addon, but I doubt that it would change much.
Though I would prefer not to have to install it, frankly.
The thing with military and loners happened again just now.
I came out of the rookie village, preparing to hunt some bandits, but then suddenly saw some military people when a bullet flew one inch away from my head.
I swiftly started running towards the rookie village, hoping that its inhabitants will get rid of the military thugs only to see the military thugs and loners become best friends forever. Military thugs then proceeded to shove a high-grade rifle barrel up my clenched *******.
Well, then I would recommend Arsenal Overhaul, based on the personal experience with it.
Make sure you have updated 7zip to the latest version!
Better suited for what?
Personally, I absolutely love Arsenal Overhaul.
The weapon selection and the animations are great. Weapons feel very nice and the bullet ballistics have been tweaked, too.
Hey!
It seems that there's a bit of a stutter in the running animation of AKS-74U.
In addition, the military thugs shot me (I'm in the Loners faction), but not other loners in the village.
Hey!
I'm playing version 1.4 right now and had a problem where a couple of military people wandered into the rookie village and weren't shot on sight. They were just walking along each other.
Considering that Loners and Military are enemies, this kind of situation shouldn't happen.
Very happy to hear that the page is going to be back up.
Thank you very much for creating one of my favorite Doom mods!
I'm pretty sure you can use it with any music. It's a really nice program for any mod/music, not only for D4D.
I've noticed something: it seems that you can still open portals with Carrion Cannon even when there's no ammo left.
Well I don't know. I was freakin' raiding soldiers with an AK and killing them just fine. I don't know what soldier took 20 bullets to kill for you. Maybe you were just missing?
I kind of highly doubt the validity of that specific situation.
And what is this with "You two bullets and him two bullets" thing for higher difficulties? It's not quite as simple as that, honestly. The accuracy matters more than damage output.
Umm, you gotta realize that soldiers wear armor, which protects them from bullets. No need to make everybody die in 2 hits in the body or whatever, completely neglecting the armor. It's quite an opposite of realism.
And besides, you can quickly kill anyone with headshots (obviously) anyway. Soldier or not.
I have 6 gigs of RAM and I have never had any memory issues with AO3 installed.
Game uses about 2.5 gigs of RAM for me after extended periods of playtime (several hours), which is perfectly acceptable, to be honest.
I'm not running everything maxed out, though, so there's that. I have the heaviest settings like grass density and lighting distance set at medium.
I also don't think that CoC is "bloated" at all, and at the same time, I'd really, really not like to have any features removed just because of occasional, very rare memory issues.
Not to mention that most features don't necessarily affect memory usage that much to begin with.
If installed and maintained properly, the mod is very stable.
And I don't think that the mod is overly ambitions at all either. It's a very slick, well-crafted, maybe even vanilla-feeling mod, so to speak. And it also has much better performance for me, compared to Misery, for example, since it has much better multicore optimization. My CPU doesn't have very high requency at all, but still runs the game well because of said multicore support. Misery, in other hand, was running pretty badly in NPC-heavy areas like Skadovsk.
It kind of varies pretty widely, but in real life, silencer lifespan is much longer than MGS' few shots.
I love stealth in Stalker, to be honest. Even though it's not a priority, it works pretty damn well. Haven't had much experience with silencers yet, though, but so far, they seem to be pretty solid for stealth too. Gotta blast some more baddies in the face before I can confirm that, though.
Can't wait to do some silenced sniping with an SVD.
I really love AO3. Its animations, sounds, and general gunplay.
Hmm, I wonder how I'll feel in regard to better night vision addon. I'm perfectly fine with the default stuff, but we'll see.
Well, I sure was able to sell them at Jupiter. Not really sure about other traders.
I found only three sets of basic tools so far, so I wasn't exactly checking whether or not I can sell them.
But guys, you can sell tools. You can sell them at some places for about 1.5-2k rubles.
Yeah, I wasn't suspecting it. Alright, reinstalled everything, so far so good.
Not sure if you had the same freezes, since as I mentioned, mine are probably related to AI correlation with the bugged .ogg.
There might be. I'll do another reinstall a bit later. I did update CoC properly, yes. And I'm using the official AO3. I also have More Tasks 1.1 addon installed until the patch releases.
I'm so bloody tired.
Just did a clean reinstall of everything to avoid crashes (my previous installation was over CoP), and now I'm getting the OGG comment error on one of the weapon sounds, which probably isn't crashing the game, but it might as well, since it's the last error I get in the log.
And besides, right before the crash, I get exactly two one second long freezes. As if AI goes haywire when reacting to the particular sound file (five-seven fire) and the game just doesn't know what to do and gives up.
I have AO3 installed, but I don't really want to play without it.
As long as mutants are placed appropriately, I'm fine with that. As long as it doesn't harm the pants-******** atmosphere of the labs.
Also, there will be anomalies added in them in the next patch, so that's cool.
I think it will be anomaly fields, yes.
