This project is just mind blowing. The Middle Earth universe really, really lacks a great game. I was actually searching for Middle Earth based games when I found this, and i'm just truly mind blown by it :)
It's great that you chose to move from Oblivion to Skyrim in my opinion, land wise it fits better, I mean middle earth is inspired by the landscape of Norway(Makes me a proud Norwegian :P), and so is Skyrim. Which should help you a bit right? And of course the fact that Skyrim is a much better game than Oblivion in general, besides the story line. Oblivion was getting outdated. Skyrim on the other hand will last for many many years, which gives you guys a lot of time.
A few questions though;
1. Assuming you will be the ring bearer in the main quest, do you have to play as Frodo, and have the fellowship with you, or can you be whoever you want and travel with or without followers?
2. Will there be side quests? and eventually expansions?
3. Will the events in the book and movies happen, such as The Battle of Helms Deep? And can you then participate in these events? If so will the famous characters be there, like Aragorn?
4. Will the world progress as you progress in the story line? Or will it be seperate, like in Skyrim where the civil war doesn't progress until you join it. Which gives you the opportunity to participate in everything that happens. So that you could travel as the Ring bearer at one point, but then just fast travel to Helm's Deep and fight the battle?
A lot of questions, which you probably get a lot hehe. Any chance for a news update in the near future though? :) Oh and where can I donate?
