I am a freelance 2D and 3D artist with a passion for science fiction art. My interest in this kind of art started at an early age through my dual interest in science and art.

Description

This Gordon Freeman painting serves a dual purpose as both the inspiration for a 3D character model, and promotional art for my Half-Life movie where said model will be used.

I have redesigned his H.E.V. Mark IV suit from Half-Life to have greater transitional resemblance to the H.E.V. Mark V from Half-Life 2. I did this because there are strong indications that not only is it the same man in Half-Life 2, but the same suit extensively modified as well.

Hopefully the changes will reflect my belief that, given all past failures in adapting games to film, you should only make changes when they make sense or make something better.

The painting itself isn't as realistically shaded as some of the Half-Life 2 promotional art, I'm not that good yet. But I worked hard on the redesign, and I hope that shows.
