i think it might be a good idea to make a special campaign like the battle for Manchuria..yes the Russians really fought the Japanese occupied China,in fact these are the reasons why the tide of pacific war turn against the U.S.(Pearl Harbor) Hitler and some Japanese leaders attempt to capture Mongolia, wherein both the Nazi and Imperial army will meet and attack full force in the Russian border,i remember this was the early years of WW2..and it was a big failure for the Axis side..And also there were battles between the Japanese and USSR during WW2 one example i remember is the war for Sak-halin islands (Russian island, occupied by the Japanese during the Russo-Japanese war)during the end days of WW2 were Sak-halin islands was returned under Soviet's hands.Well anyway i just want to share these things to all EF and Pacific fans, many are aware of these things..but speaking technical..to merge the EF and Pacific mod is a huge task for them,so it is them will decide. Both mod are not in its final stage of development yet..we can't ask for more, all we just need to wait.The good thing is they are open for suggestions..maybe if they made both perfect they may come up with the same idea (who can say) or maybe not.Lets just hope for :) For Eastern front team congrats for making a very good mod for COH Cheers!! guys wikipedia has some list of the IJN weapons during WW2 it also contains the types of katanas wield by the japanese officer..

i thnk da japs are wearing some kind of clothe at der head gears others have the rising sun bandana...anyway really nice work for this one

hi guys im from the philippines and i just read about some of the infos regarding ds mod..well its veri nice to see these kind of things, i really wanted to play COH in the pacific mode, because im an asian..anyway i hope i could contribute some help in making ds project or some infos about the pacific setting in ww2.maybe i would like to suggest something about the IJN army..the japs are really good in guerrilla like warfare based on my research and at the movies, they are good in ambushes screaming banzai war cry charging der pointed arisaka bayonet or katanas at der foe..maybe its good to emphasize the melee combat aspect ds time..im not sure if ds will be possible to do it..how about putting up tunnel networks to allow the japs to access quickly to der occupied territories…and deploying snipers at trees, some pit traps wd MG emplacement covered by leaves and so on, also how about allowing the japs to place booby traps to pinned down foes to the ground and strike dem wd banzai charge..and one more the japs don’t have the best tanks compare to german counterpart during WW2 right? Maybe we should add some of der standards like the Chi-ha I think or the others similar to the stuart light tanks,but more anti tank capabilities for the IJN how about that? Haha I really cant wait for the next post guys..i was just so excited to see the progress..hehe sori for my English anyway, not my primary language :D
