I like playing with the aeon and one of their experimental is not in the warp pillar.

Small question, the experimental warp pillars are they usable with the 1.1b2c? Because I would like to try them but haven't tried them before.

Also it seems a lot of people have desyncs, it's not the mod, my desyncs are totally gone. Just that you know.

Keep up the great work, we'll keep up having fun in the meantime with 1.1b2c. :-)

First you have to buy it through steam and download it, you also have to buy the Infinite war expansion pack for it through steam, download it also.
The revamp mod only works with the retail steam version and it requires the inifinite war expansion pack.

Then use the mod manager to add the extracted scd files.
Moddb.com
Extract the mod manager, run and add the 3 scd files: Revamp Expansion Mod 1.1b2, Revamp Balance Mod v1.1b2, and _modsupport_v7
Check the 3 checkboxes of the 3 added scd files.

In file -> Settings check the box "preserve loaded mods on exit"
And now you can launch the game through steam or through the mod manager.

Hello Overrated and everyone @ Revamp.

We finally had some time to test the 1.1B2 and it works AWESOME.
INCREADIBLY GREAT JOB.

Everything we all asked is inside, the bugs are fixed, the nukes come later, the difficulty is still very good just like we wanted it. :-)

I haven't got any issues or bugs so far. I don't have that issue with the illuminate mass extractor here above.

I'll let you know if we encounter issues or bugs. None so far. We're back silent again and having fun for half a year. :-)

Again thanks a lot. And if you don't hear us, we're happily playing your mod and all goes very well. :-)

Overrated, another question, do you have any perf tips inside supcom2 if we put the unit limit on 3000?
The hardware should be ok (core i7)
Or is it just the terrible ancient supcom engine?
Not really an issue of course since we can always go back to 2000 units. :-)
We're just testing around on 3000, but once the AI goes beyond 2000 it slowsss down. :-))

Just to defend the revamp team a little here...
In the past, many months ago we had also desyncs, now with the 1.1b all the desyncs we had are gone. Even with the aeon the desyncs are gone!
If you encounter desyncs, there is only 1 reason remaining and it means that the files which you guys are all playing with are not consistent.
The easiest solution to check this, is to let every person do a MD5 check on your STEAM\steamapps\common\supreme commander 2\gamedata folder
an example of such a program is md5sum. then you'll directly see which files are not the same. Everyone needs to be playing with exaclty the same files or you'll have desyncs.

With the 1.1b those nukes are coming wayyyy to fast, is no fun anymore compared to 1.05. Can you change that in the 1.1b2 and make it more like the 1.05?
Because now we even stopped playing SC2 because of it. It's a pity because we played your 1.05 mod since it came out until the 1.26 official patch when it stopped working.

for the 1.1b, it seems the Boomerangs from the cybrian are not working anymore.
Instead of redirecting nukes, the nukes simply vanish (destroyed).

Especially great how fast you reacted with an update on the 1.26 patch.

Question:
Did we first had to remove previous verions of your mod?
Because now we just added the files in the mod manager and enabled them.
(We added mithys mod support V7 and the balance 1.1 mod and the revamp 1.1 mod)
The game is working fine, we even don't get any desyncs so all is great.
But I noticed the following files in the gamedata folder:
Revamp Balance Mod v1.1b.scd
Revamp_Balance_Mod.scd
revamp_base.scd
Revamp_Expansion.scd
Revamp_Expansion_Mod_1.05_Patch_1.1.scd
revamp_textures.scd
and the defaults not related to revamp...

Is this ok? Because it works fine, but the game became incredibly more dificult. Which is great by the way. ;-) But that because of the rebalancing I suppose. Or will the balance mods files become cumulative?

Just curious. :-)

Dont forget to also boy the DLC, you can do it through steam.
You need the DLC also to play the 1.2 mod

We love this mod, we played this mod already over 200 hours :-)
It's perfect if you set 2 cheating AI's with a resource bonus of 270. :-)

We tested the latest patch (1.05 mod and 1.1 patch), we removed first evrything, installed the mod support and balance mod but we still have desyncs with the illuminate. I mean if 1 team is illuminate we get desyncs late in the game.
we don't have desyncs with the UEF and also not with the cybrian.
We also did a md5 hash on the gamedata folder and all was the same.
It's just to give some feedback, it's not really a problem, we'll wait for the 1.20 mod. Let's hope the desyncs will be gone with the new version then. Because the illuminate is my favourite team. :-)

I completly understand, it's already more then enough work to get it all pieced together and get it bug free.
For the moment we will just play with the UEF and the 1.05 mod.

We've been able to test with 1 illuminate and the rest UEF and with both mithys mod support V7 and the awassa fix, but we still had desyncs late in the game during heavy battles, unit cap was 2000.
Once we had the desyncs, we tried with lowering the game speed hoping, the game would go back in sync, but it didn't help.
We're 2 players with I7's and 2 AI's, total 4 on the map.
Then we replayed with all UEF and no desyncs.

I wish I had better news, but it seems the desyncs happen only with illuminate, which I always was using in the past. :-)

I'll be back in 2 weeks.

Good news so far.
This is what we did, we added mithys mod support V7 through the modmanager V1.02 and the awassa fix you sended. Then we redid a md5 check on both gamedata folders, the scd files were all the same.
We tested with 1 cybrian and the rest UEF, result: No desync. :-)
However it was only 1 test but with illuminate in the past we would have desyncs (without the mod support and awassa fix).
We haven't had time yet to test with the mod support and the awassa fix and 1 illumate and the rest UEF, maybe today, otherwise it'll have to wait for 2 weeks when I'm back.

Please ignore the people who are asking for an ETA, do it for the people who really appreciate it and know how much work it is.
Like I said before without your mod we would have stopped playing sc2 long time ago, your mod really brings back the fun of sc1.

Otherwise warn them on top of the progress list that the progress % will be lowered each time a person asks for an eta.
Just joking, just ignore the eta questions.

Already many thanks for your help.
We've been testing a little more and we tested with 2 human players (core I7) and with 2 cheating AI (custom resource 200).
This is what we found out, with always using the above selections:
If all factions are UEF, we don't get desyncs. If 1 faction is illuminate (me, I prefer them. :-)) then we get desyncs late in the game with heavy battles.
We will be testing a little more, I'll use now the red ones a few times during the next tests. I'll let you know the outcome.

We've been retesting and I tested with 1 other player who also has a core I7 and we still get desyncs, our internet lines are very good.
So we both have core I7's and 8 gig ram and we still get them.
Our unit limit is 2000 and the desyncs happen late in the game.
What unit limit are you using? And do you never get desyncs?
