SOMETIMES, not always, but A LOT of times will the Army Medkit not work. It'll use, but it will not heal. Again, not always, but it fails to heal more than succeed.

Downloaded a "Less HDR effect" mod for Lurk 1.1. It did the trick, but the sun is gone. Anyone have any idea?

I've only crashed once since I got it working. I had to update to patch version 1.0006. The only crash I got was when I tried to eat the canned food.

But, I see what you're saying about the random FPS dip. I get around 55 - 80 FPS at a constant, but then sometimes it'll go down to like... 17 - 35.

I thought it was just where I had been going at the time, but then when I came back to the game yesterday, it's just running fine in those areas. Then it started to dip in the rookie camp. Something is up.

Found a bug, It's happened 3 times now. When I try to eat the canned food, it'll CTD.

In my opinion, the game is still, like old L.U.R.K., too dark even durring the afternoon of the game. The bloom is a tad too strong for my case. If you look up at some of the dead trees near the beginning of the game in the anomaly field, you will see outside shadows around them that are VERY noticeable. Perhaps add a lesser bloom effect/brighter day time in some upcoming options?

Everyone knows about the life-bar not showing up in the inventory, ammo left and current clip isn't showing on screen either.

So far, it moves fluid on my system, only in some spots does it drop really bad, but still manages to move smooth-ish. For example, when going to save Nimble, that particular area and the warehouses across while inside the building lags pretty bad, I'm guessing the increased Parallax. Not really a big problem since, again, it manages to move still fluid like. Once out of those areas I hit around 55-80 FPS. (9800 GTX+ with 512 MB VRAM, AMD Athlon 6000+ x2 3.09 GH/z)

Menus look great. Textures look great. There are a few I don't like, the grass and tree bark textures, but that's been spoken of. I like the wet texture look when it rains, very well done. Sounds are extremely orgasmic. The animations are grand. It has some down, but very, very many ups. And I'm sure the bads will be fixed soon. Nothing REALLY serious is wrong with the mod, just little nit-picks here and there.

Located in config\Text. Deleted. Instant crash when starting. Restoring file.

This is all I could get out of it. When the game does this, it stays on screen and I can't see my mouse until I end the process. I hope this helps.

I either have no, or cannot locate Localization.ltx

Uninstalled the game itself. Reinstalled game. Extracted LURK gamedata into the directory, started game. Froze after the LETS GAME page, bugtrap came up, then it ctd'd.

Went back into directory, changed user.ltx gamedata line to true, started game, same thing.

Straight up, NOT working. Doin' it right, I am. Mod just isn't working.

Turn off prefetch?

Unable to start. It gets the to the LET'S GAME page, and then freezes. Can't even get to the menu to start the game. :(

Haha, same here. I haven't played SoC in MONTHS. I stopped playing CoP after I beat it cause there's no good mods out for it yet.

I think the first Lurk had some sound mods in it. Better than the original ****** sounds, so most likely in 1.1, yes.

Hah, this is like my second comment on this page since this all started way back...

I noticed that the title is no longer June: TBD, it's just TBD. Is this implying that it possibly won't come in June? Not really a problem, I've been patient all this time I can go a bit more. I have my 360 and liek no gaems PS3, but I'm just wondering.

I need a better suit than a SEVA suit, yet none of the traders sell anything better. Any one know how I can get an Exo suit or something better than SEVA?
