Its in the file name, lazy bones.

Its not lag, its framerate drop. Brutal doom spawns a lot more of actors because of the head shot system, that is why its heavier on your pc. I can play vanilla doom in a netbook with an atom@1.6Ghz, but I cannot play brutal doom at all.
Reducing the graphics effects helps, Check your settings. Use software renderer to try, do not scale graphics, etc.

Well, I found the link to this compilation from a sarge mark video on you tuve.I was not dissapointed :D I like dark ambient music and really liked this pieces, thanks for sharing it!

I can see that some people complain about this not being a WAD, but I can tell you that this have some nice pros:
+ Universal: can be used with any map wads
+ Choose your tune: pick the one you feel like listening since it is not hard-wired into the maps

Cons:
-Maybe some computers cannot cope with running a music player + doom port? not sure about it, but I have a pc with a 1st gen i5 (made in 2009) and I have no problem running GOM audio + Zandronum

The point where I agree with is that the volume is a little bit low, would be nice if I do not need to raise the volume of the audio application.
