JWE2 is prettier than its predecessor with (sort of?) better creature AI and environment variety but also has tedium out the wazoo, weird-*** mechanics (pack hunting, cough) and trashy trashy crap like the pterosaurs and marine reptiles that do nothing but fly/swim around and waste spots in the rosters for the DLC. Said DLCs are all overpriced garbage that offer the bare minimum in terms of content and paywall basic crap like film-accurate creature designs.

TL;DR it's trash. Par for the course for Jurassic, I guess.

12/28/19 (7/10): Though it was pretty bad at launch, a healthy stream of updates have made the game worthwhile as a whole. Updates to AI and more decorative options could make Evolution well and truly great.

6/27/21: Tedious and annoying, but also nice to look at.
