To be honest, I don't really care too much about prejudice and stereotypes, but this is absurd. This is modern warfare where exposing oneself to the enemy means certain death. Wave a flag in the frontline without any means of protection, what is the point of doing so? Seeking death? I am pretty sure that seeing these units killed by enemy firepower within a sec hurts army morale more than the morale gain these units can provide.
I don't really care the prejudice of so called "human rights violation in China". I HAVE SEEN TOO MUCH. But this is going too far. It is making people feel that CHINESE COMMANDERS ARE FOOLS.

How is it possible to beat ranged troops with melee in industrialized era? Does the melee troops have extra health and armor, like the Vaegirs, or they are just large in number?Either case is just too similar to Vaegirs.

Another problem is, does Khergits have large numbers? In the real world China is a farming country, while Khergit is a nomad country. They are not able to raise as much population as other farming countries in Calradia. I think that the basic strategy of Khergit is not to keep a large number of low-end melee soldiers, but to keep elite ambush armies that are good at sneak attack and hit-n-run.

Actually, beating opponent with large number is always a bad idea. Charging towards machineguns is even worse. This is true both in the real world and in Calradia. The real world counterpart (Communist China) relied on guerrilla warfare, maneuvers, and strategies rather than number. They are not superior in terms of number during the revolution. If they had fought a toe to toe combat against the Koumintang, hoping numbers and melee weapon would count, they would have never succeeded. I am always confused why there exists a stereotype of Communist China that they just mindlessly use large numbers to defeat enemies. No enemies of them were defeated in such a absurd way.

I hope the devs will consider this.

Khergits must be socialist China. The reason is balancing. Vaegirs need at least one alloy that belongs to the socialist faction on the continent, and in real world, the only influencing socialist state on the Euro-asian continent that differs from Soviet is China. Other socialist states are (or were) either too "Sovietish", or not influential enough. For example, eastern Europe Socialist states used to copy Soviet Union, and any attempt to change this was suppressed by the Soviets. Socialist China is different from Soviet Union, and is more influential than DPRK and Viet Nam. So, if there is a second socialist state on Calradia continent, the state should be based on Socialist China. And Khergits are of an eastern civilization, so they fit the design of Socialist China.

The history of Calradia and Khergit is different from the history of Euro-Asian continent and China in real world. Khergit has a nomadic origin, while China is mainly of a farming culture. In reality the revolution in China was inspired by Soviets, but the method of seizing important cities did not work, because the forces of the KMT were too concentrated in cities. So the Chinese revolutionaries developed their forces in the rural areas, just as you have mentioned. However, in Calradia, things are different. Maybe the Khergit revolutionaries, inspired by the Vaegirs, attempted to seize central cities and actually succeeded. You know that Khergit mounted armies are good at open ground in rural areas, but not urban warfare, so maybe the revolutionaries just happened to choose the right path of struggle, and succeeded much earlier than their real world counterpart.
