Although this may apply to many character in the RP, I think Praxis is too perfect. Great technician, tactician, Force User, developed his own combat technique, apparently created his own Force Techniques ect.

People rarely include any weaknesses in their characters. Although you wouldn't say these weaknesses out loud (mainly because people take their characters far more personally than I believe they should), I never really saw you in a weakened state, or anything of the such.

I shall take Kairn as an example: Kairn was a good "technician", or good at making things mainly related to the Force, something he also mastered. He had moderate direct combat skills (a Maraudor of equal experience could and has wounded him in lightsaber combat) and an average battle tactician (he only ever fought battles he knew he'd win, such as ambushes or supporting a superior ally force)

Now for his weakness, which I'm sure most people noticed rather easily: He was mentally disturbed. Seriously disturbed. I liked to think of him as "Chaos incarnate", he would betray allies at a whim, if it suited him or if he enjoyed it, he would sometimes go mad and become enraged (once leading to a peace treaty not being signed) and constantly put himself in danger which eventually lead to his death or near death (his fight with Cronus was because he was overly paranoid, that combined with his anger at, in his mind, being largely ignored by Cronus lead to him being nearly killed).

Not saying Kairn wasn't good, strong or even sometimes OP, but he had weaknesses that could (and I believe have) been exploited by others (though normally at a lesser extent).

I'm changing up Praxis' story a bit, but he still will be a sort of Jack-of-all-trades character. He knows things about engineering, but that doesn't mean he's knows how to design and build a whole ship. He may be a scientist, but that doesn't mean he's an expert in every field, for the most part his specialty is applying scientific principles to the study of the Force and the development of new techniques and powers. He has scientists to do the research, engineers to do the building, business partners to make the money, etc. He's just knowledgeable, I've said it before and I'll say it again, "he knows a little about everything, and if there is something he doesn't know he knows someone who does, or where to find out". Most of all, what makes him seem so perfect and versatile, is that he's simply imaginative, talented and creative, he'll think of things no one else would and try things some people would believe is impossible. He just the guy with a bunch of great ideas crammed into his head, its his "minions" that make them into a reality, while he focuses on his own personal training and study into the Force.

When it comes to weapons, combat, and tactics: He also fairly "knowledgeable" but no expert, he has commanders and generals to handle tactics and strategy. He can pick up almost any weapon and figure out how to use it, but anyone who has proficiency and experience with weapons can probably do that.

Like Kairn, he only fights battles he knows he will win, or benefit from, which so far hasn't been many. He has a bit of an advantage over Kairn in melee combat, he'll fair much better than him against a more skilled opponent in close combat, but would clearly be outmatched if he stuck close too long. His skill in melee is superior to other ranged characters however. If Praxis and Kairn were to duel, Praxis would decide that a Force power slug fest would be a waste of time when he could simply close in and defeat Kairn with his scythe or lightsabers.

Ah, thought Praxis designed his own ships and such. You can ignore comments regarding to that, then, as you're pretty much like Kairn just more focused/interested on tech (more so than Kairn, who was more focused on the Force).

But I still think a sort of weakness would make Praxis very interesting and add flavor to your RP experience. You don't have to tell anyone, just RP the flaw.

Anyway, thats my "nit picking" if you can call it that, done.

Your character doesn't seem to have anything like that. He seems mentally fine (apart from when you were Dark Lord, which you blamed on Kairn corrupting you, but that wasn't really your char going mad, just an excuse).

Even AK, who arguably has the most OP character in RP history has given himself what could be perceived as a weakness, his power could kill him if he isn't careful.

I don't really like perfect characters, they're rather dull, boring and predictable. You don't have to be perfect to be succeed, just look at Kairn, most of the bad things that happened to him was a result of his madness yet he turned out alright (until he died... xD).

Plus some of the Force Powers are rather... Meh. "Almighty Push"? "Doppelganger"? But I never was one who really cared about OP stuff as long as it wasn't spammed or used to benefit the user too much.

P.S. I know it can be hard to force faults onto chars, my current char is supposed to be an honorable arrogant Sith Inquisitor, meaning easily manipulated and bad at negotiations with those he considers "inferior". Not at all my play style, and not at all like Kairn. But I'm thinking it'll be quite fun xD.

Actually Praxis did go a bit crazy, sorry if I didn't quite make that clear, he did blame Kairn, but it was mostly his own arrogance that led him to be corrupted by the Dark Side. Other than that, Praxis does have is own issues that simply haven't been revealed yet.

As for the Force powers, the ones typed next to "ultimate variant" are powerful versions with long "cool downs". So not quite spammable at all.

The doppelganger power isn't cannon, I believe. An illusion is perfectly fine, but an actual physical doppelganger I haven't read about, or at least not to the extent you are using it.

And the Force Push pushing back laser bolts is impossible xD.

The doppleganger is canon, I looked it up. Its still an illusion, he can just project his Force presence in such a way to make them seem real, and imbue them with various elemental effects. One thing I've wanted to try doing is comboing fold space with it and leaving illusions behind as I teleport.

Oh yeah, the reason ultimate force push he uses can block blaster fire is because the blast wave acts as an energy barrier. I said in the description he can combo force powers, in this case he comboed a powerful force push/repulse with that energy siphon barrier mentioned in the description. Except in this case he can't absorb and store any of the energy that's taken by the barrier that he throws forward.

P.P.S: Weakness could be you going slightly mad, paranoid, prone to rage ect. (typical things among those who dabble too much in the Dark Side) or something else, such as loneliness (which a person like Praxis would have), boredom (going down the same path as Kairn), a huge ego/arrogance (leading to you seeing others as inferior due to your intellect and maybe go Hitler-mad? xD) or possibly retreating into yourself/depression, something of the sort.

Just throwing out ideas, a good flaw can make a character go from nothing new to very interesting.

There's my two cents anyway, do what you wish with them xD.

Praxis has a good grip on his emotions. After all, part of what he teaches to his followers in the Covenant is "control" especially when delving into the powers of the Dark side. Mostly, he's arrogant and considers himself superior, and his ideas better (especially when speaking of the force, he considers the ideals of the Jedi and Sith as flawed and inferior to his own). He does have a lot of internal struggles, such as loneliness. Though people respect and admire him because of his innovative views of the Force and many other things, even his closest allies are "distant" from him, as his power, and intellect are on a whole other level above them. He grew up as a prodigy, and many were jealous and neglectful towards him. (Redoing the blog entry on him to include more back story involving his past before he joined the Grey Jedi Order.)

Thanks for the feedback. Helped me come up with more ways to expand on his story

There we go! Always interesting to expand on your character!

This sort of stuff makes for great dialogue between characters, which I'm always in favor of.

Description

"The only limit to my Power, is my imagination."

Abilities Overview: Praxis is skilled at manipulating the Force, with an understanding of its mechanics that far exceeds many Sith or Jedi masters that posses several times his experience. His experiments with the Force have also led him to create new techniques and new ways to use existing ones or to use powers in combination with each other. He is particularly talented in abilities involving the manipulation of energy and matter. Overall, he is an incredibly versatile combatant and duelist.

Force Powers:
-Force Leech: (aka Energy Drain): Similar to various techniques under the Tutanminis disipline of Force Powers, and also Force Drain, it allows Praxis to absorb energy from almost anything, and either store it for later use or channel it into other force powers, such as powerful energy barriers.
-Telekinesis: Praxis can use nearly all forms of telekinesis. Praxis is also capable of directing his telekinetic attacks with mere thought alone, giving his opponents no warning or indication before unleashing his attacks.
-Force Collapse: Praxis creates a small but powerful gravity field where he can attract objects, or his opponents, toward. Can also be converted into a less potent, yet controllable, version of Force Wormhole.
-Fold Space: Like his teacher, Praxis is adept at using teleportation to avoid attacks and position himself at a vantage point.
-Doppleganger: Praxis summons up to six indistinguishable copies of himself to distract his opponents.
-Alter Environment
-Force Beam: Praxis focuses the energy he absorbed using Force Leech, and discharges it as a powerful beam of pure energy.
-Art of the Small
-Phase

Other Abilities:
Telepathy
Knowledge Drain

Praxis has practiced many other Force techniques he has managed to discover or rediscover through research and experimentation. Those listed above are simply the most noteworthy
