"So?" Thaxos inquires.

"Its been a long time but its still very familiar to me, I think we've found what I've been searching for." Umbra signals the strike team to breach the door. The demo team backs off and detonates the charges.

Marauder squad advances, scanning the area inside for movement and/or hostiles. They flip between a few optical sensors in their visors such as thermal to ensure nothing escapes their sight.

OOC: Sorry about the delay.

"Admiral, seems to be a chuck from a much larger vessel, an Executor variant it seems. Scans show its teeming with unknown life signs. Entry points are as follows." A hologram is put on display for everyone on the bridge to see, highlighting the scan data and entrances.

"Hmmm... forward this information to Marauder Squad, and give them the green light to begin the operation."

A fully cloaked ship enters the quarantine zone, landing near one of the entry points to the wreck. HK-1000s form a perimeter around the LZ. Marauder Squad quickly exits down the landing ramp before the the ship speeds off into the upper atmosphere. To careful observers it would seem the Republic had another new set of toys aside from the droids, judging from the four large armored troopers accompanying the 40 man team. They seemed to be in power armor of some sort sporting heavy weapons of various types. Lastly, some astromechs and other support droids accompanied the team.

Two men in cloaks approach the bulkhead doors, Korhol Umbra and Thaxos Tenau. Umbra wore a different armor from his usual suit, it vaguely resembled Mandalorian armor, much like Thaxos' armor (Though Thaxos' was the genuine article) though stylized very differently.

They direct the Spectres to prepare for a breach. Two 4 man squads form up on each side of the doors hugging the walls, the EXO-Spectres form up in front of the door, and the rest hang back while the demo team sets breaching charges.

"How nice of the Chiss to invite us here. Rather unusual for them, but welcome all the same. Its been too long since I've done some serious field work."

"Didn't you say you came out here for the sake of your pet projects? That you 'sensed' something in the Force or whatever." Thaxos replies.

"It was merely a hunch. Won't know for sure until we see it. Although..." Umbra extends his hand towards the door and concentrates, reaching out with the Force toward the life force coursing throughout the shipwreck. If his hunch was correct, he should be able to to sense it now that he was up close.

Special Task Force A-9 deployed from Mon Cala arrives over Ilum. An Acclamator escorted by a frigate and corvette.

The Mon Calamari Admiral and commander of the task force opens a channel with the Chiss forces. "This is Captain Raddish of the RAF. Requesting permission to deploy near the quarantine zone."

Once permission is granted, heavy transports embark from the Acclamator and make landfall around the crash site, deploying a few small divisions of troops and vehicles who establish a perimeter within view of the crash site. The task force establishes a small outpost opposite to the Enclave position, and fortify advantageous positions near the crash site.

A few HK-1000s, the Republic's new war droids, scan the ship for life signs (auxiliary sensor slots are equipped with advanced bio-scanners) and scout for ideal breaching points; among the main entrances in addition to structural weaknesses along the hull of the craft.

Meanwhile Raddish attempts to seek an identification for the ship. His intel officers get to work on asking the Chiss for additional data they may have on the crashed ship, in addition to processing the intel received from the scouts on the ground.

Meh, it'll most likely be about drama between the corperation/alliance/coalition leadership and players spamming dank memes and trash talk in local chat during visually epic but rather boring 1000+ player fleet (blob) engagements.

I doubt it will end up as a literal wall, even Trump has eased off the gas on that idea now that the elections are over. But increased patrols and the like will provide the same function.

Well yeah. Walls keep things out. :P Of course it seems similar. Seriously though, Mexican immigrants need to follow the rules and procedures if they want into the US. Uncontrolled immigration, especially on this scale, even if it's to help people, can have dire unintended consequences. Both politically and economically. It's not because the majority of Americans are racist it's just a matter of principle and pragmatism. At least in my own opinion. And I'm sure less loud and obnoxious Americans would agree.

Doesn't seem fair to compare two totally different situations. The Berlin Wall divided the German people unjustly. The wall proposed in the US is for tightening border security which is vital for a democratic society. But I digress.
