OOC: IF HH isn't going to do anything than I don't have much to say either, you can go ahead and grab the plant and extract. I might have something else to do with HH in a bit but otherwise after you do that this event is finished. Good Work :P PM me and we'll continue with you debriefing and reward.

"One last thing Nym, there's a laboratory not far from your position. There should be a fully grown specimen of the plants we're trying to destroy. We need you to take it and its container. We're sending some droids your way to help you deal with any remaining hostiles that head your way. After you've dealt with that, head to extraction, I've marked the objectives on your HUD."

Meanwhile, Bitz its spotted by a scout drone attempting to make his escape at the hanger. The info is forwarded to Brodi.

"Commander, we've spotted him. Do we let him go? Or take him out?"

"I've been ordered to show Soha that we mean business. I don't think letting him go really helps with that. Wouldn't you agree?"

"Understood sir."

As Bitz's trasport begins to make its getaway, a one of the Hailfire gunships takes aim with its guns. Seeing as it was at the edge of its range, the gunner takes careful aim for a precise and decisive shot. As soon as the target is locked in, he sends a high velocity round straight towards the craft.

Part 2

The gunship lands close by the commandos position and opens its hatch to allow them in for extraction.

"We need to torch this place before the Hutt reinforcements arrive. Get the wounded in, grab some ammo and get goin. That goes for the mercs as well. Leave nothing standing."

A couple medics and four troopers rush to the aid of the commandos. Helping them up and providing any treatment they need to prevent death or permanent harm. They escort them to the ship, they also carry the body of the deceased CS into the transport.

As soon as the greenhouses are emptied of people, the droids begin setting everything ablaze.

Part 1

There is silence, no response from Brodi at first. But moments later one of the nearby gunships searching around for enemies are sent crashing down as explosive shells and streams of blaster fire hoses them to the ground in fiery explosions.

Blaster fire comes raining down on the remaining Gamorreans and their nearby vehicles as well. A transport de-cloaks in front of the commandos.

"Sorry for keeping you guys waiting." Brodi finally responds. "Got held up by a Hutt patrol on the way back."

What looked to be meteorites came raining down from the sky. Everyone in the vicinity could hear booms that sounded much like cannon shots as the objects entered the atmosphere at such high speeds. They impact the ground and even crash into nearby buildings, panicked workers and guards come running out. Though the objects cause no real damage or explosions.

The objects turn out to be pods, they split open and reveal their contents. Battles droids, dozens of them scattered throughout the facility. A heavy blaster weapon arm on their left, a flamethrower as their right arm, and a fuel tank attached to all of their backs. They send warning shots to anyone that stick around.

Static could be heard on the communicators of Nym's team and the commandos. A faint voice could be heard amiidst the static as the jamming array collapses to the ground. Seconds later it becomes clear.

"This is Sub-Commander Brodi, I've just recieved word that the jamming array is down, hows progress on dealing with the shield?" (OOC: If i misread something and it's already down, let me know and ignore this.)

"As a reminder, be advised that there are innocent civilians, most are hired workers or slaves. Basically, avoid shooting anything that isn't shooting at you first."

"We don't have much time, there's another sortie we have to attend to. Everything you need to know is in the info we just transmitted to you. Reinforcements will come once it has been confirmed the shield generator and jamming array have been neutralized."

*With that being said, the frigate cuts communication and hastily enters hyperspace, leaving the mercs to fend for themselves from there.*

"Good, looks like everyone has arrived." The ship's CO replies to Nym's transmission and at the same time opens a channel with the other mercs.

"I'm sub-commander Brodi, I'll be providing support for your team. Our first objective is take out the bases primary defenses. The plantation is rather large so taking it out on your own will be tough. We're going to send you map data and our current intel on the facility's defenses. Your first task will be taking out the shield generator and jamming array control center. Their locations will be included in the map data. Each of you are also being given some suggested points where you can infiltrate the base and get to your objectives without being noticed initially (I'll send it via PM AK). Once each of these have been taking out, we'll be able to provide you with some fire support."

"Once you've gotten close to the plantation you won't be able to communicate with each other until the jammer has been taken care of. Though you can also take advantage of this, as the guards on site will have the same problem. They most likely have other means of communication however, so don't count on it. My suggestion to you would be to plan ahead before going in, due to the blackout, some coordination might be necessary."

"Pretty much, the mission is a success once the entire facility is razed to the ground. However, we just confirmed that many of the workers are indentured slaves, and thus innocent bystanders in this. Your secondary objective is to free them and try your best to insure their safety until they've evacuated the area, so long as it doesn't conflict with the primary objective which is simply to make sure none of the drugs gets off planet. We'll have another team on stand-by to evacuate the civilians outside the mission area."

"As stated before, the facility is located at Gamorr, you are to head there ASAP. Once you've arrived in-system, we'll fill you in on the details regarding the base's defenses and how you'll infiltrate it."

"If there are no other questions, you are dismissed."

"For one, the Red shift are involved. While we were able to deal with most of them after that frieghter incident, including thier leader, the rest managed to get away and now have sold thier services to the Hutts. So you'll be dealing with other, very skilled mercenaries like yourselves in addition to the Hutt's forces."

"I won't waste time explaining myself further," The Overseer went on "What you need to know is that Quill has hired you to stop the Hutts from producing and distributing the drug in question. So, we're sending you to it's source. Any other questions?"

OOC: I shouldn't have said 'towmorrow morning' wound up jinxing myself. Now I got stuff to do. I'll 'try' to wrap this up tonight, then we can begin the actual mission. I'll send the PM to everyone then as well at the very least.

"All but a couple of you have done jobs for us in the past." The Overseer continued. "Jobs that we could of handled on our own but instead we hired you to take care of them, and for one reason, to test you. We've been keeping an eye on each of you and you've caught our interest. My point is that we wish to recruit you. While we have plenty of soldiers and competent agents, but what we're always in need of are people of your skills." He looks at the mercenaries. "Crack demolition experts..." He continues and looks at Nym, "Combat specialists," He then looks at Rogue, "Professional killers. These are the sort of people that the Syndicate is always searching for."

He inserts a data chip into the console and a hologram pops up for everyone to see.

"Of course, its up to you whether or not you want to join our cause, and you don't need to decide now. Right now we have one last job we want each of you to handle for us."

The hologram displayed the planet Gamorr. Alongside it were holographic read-outs with various information about the planet. Duran whispers into the Lieutenant's ear and nods and she starts with the briefing, he pulls Crow off to the side and well and they exchange a few words quietly. Meanwhile, Quill sits next to one of the surveillance consoles and browses through some of the feeds.

"Your mission is to raid a large and heavily guarded Hutt plantation responsible for the production of a new narcotic that's about to be released on the black market."

"A good question." Everyone diverts their attention to the doors. Another uniformed officer enters, and from the looks of it he was the commanding officer.

"Overseer Duran." The lieutenant salutes. "What are you doing here? I Thought you departed hours ago."

"There's been a new development, I'll explain it in a bit. But to answer your question." He glances at Rogue as he walks up next to Crow and the lieutenant. "Why would we hire mercenaries? Well one because we don't like risking the lives of our own people if we don't need to. But more importantly, you lot aren't ordinary hired guns."

OOC: I don't feel like naming all the extras, IE the mercs, and the soldiers. If you wish to attach names to them somehow to help you keep track of them feel free, just nothing silly if you can help it. Whatever you come up with I'll roll with it.

IC: Everyone is led into a large, semi-circular room, surrounded by monitors, computer terminals and holographic displays, along with the staff operating them, they all wore similar uniforms. Larger screens were displayed along the upper walls for everyone in the room to see. From the looks of it they were all surveillance footage related to the Hutts amd their operations. The big screen directly in front of the group at they walked in even had Soha himself.

At the center of the room was a raised platform with a circular table with a large hologram projector.

Crow and the zabrak officer take their places on one side of the table, while thee mercs and soldiers stand at the other side.

"I'm Lieutenant Koth and this is one of our top spies, Crow." The zabrak says. "We've called you all here to execute an operation against the Hutt Cartel. Any questions before we start?"

"Well, that Op pretty much changed everything." The soldiers closest to Nym says.
"The Red Shift made up a good bulk of our fighting forces, we found out they were turning on us becuase of that mission you took. Even if it was by pure chance you encountered them on that frieghter it was lucky that you did. Otherwise they could have done quite a number on the rest of us."

"Those jerks were taking every big job on the market." One of the other mercenaries mentions. "Jericho gave them intel while they did jobs and made the group money, pretty sweet deal, but we're better off without them monopolizing everything. Good riddance."

"At least they had some people who were actually loyal to the cause." Everyone turns to thier attention to the new voice belonging to a hooded man who just emerged from the next room. "The only reason your here is becuase we offered you a considerable amount of credits."

"They didn't seem very loyal when they turned on you guys."

"What do you know mercenary? Its not like you knew anything about us until we hired you." The merc rolls his eyes at the hooded man's comment. The man looked humanoid, fairly average height, though not much could be told about him since he was in a simple black robe and had a mask covering the lower half of his face, while the hood shrouded the rest. It seemed to be the same person that was speaking to Quill at the Casino. Before the arguement is dragged out further another person walks in from behind him and interupts.

"It seems that everyone has arrived, the briefing will begin shortly, everyone please step inside." A female Zabrak, she wore a uniform bearing the Syndicate's insignia like the soldiers.

This part has been mostly improv with the exception of some parts. Its for flavor and background and that takes me a bit to figure out.

IC: One of the mercs looks at Nym, judging from his expression he seemed to recognize Nym from somewhere.

"Hey, your Nym right? The guy who took down those Red Shift bastards?"

The guard puts his finger on an earpiece as he recieves orders from his superior.

"Close enough. Your free to proceed."

The shield is lowered and the guards step aside as the door opens revealing a short hallway to a set of stairs.

"My apoligies for that, its standard procedure for outsiders of the organization to be treated like this. Its ironic considering I just told you to 'throw caution into the wind', as you say." Quill briefly explains, he chuckles a bit at the last part, but stops himself as he sensed Nym and Rogues irratation on the matter.

A few more guards were standing by and at the top of the stairs were a few others. Some looked like mercenaries like Nym and Rogue, they looked to have had thier arms confiscated as well. Others, that looked more like soldiers, whom upon closer inspection bore the Syndicate's insignia on their shoulder. They were clad in full body armor and each had a rifle and pistol holstered. They weren't standing guard obviously, it looked as though the were waiting around for something. Meanwhile they conversed with one another, they all diverted their attention to Quill, Nym, and Rogue as they approached up the stairs.

Bek aka Quill, lands on the ground and advances first through a blue holographic barrier indicating the scanning field. It turns green briefly as he walks through. The guards signal both Nym and Rogue to go next. The field turns red as they pass through and they are stopped by a force field. A table ascends from the floor in front of them.
