That makes perfect sense. :)
Health regen and HP was a weakness of the Storm mastery. The whole glass-cannon thing. ^^
Yeah, the game is not very stable when it comes to multiplayer. That's not a mod issue; it's a problem with the underlying game engine. The best way to avoid crashing in multiplayer is to try and stay near your allies in those large camp areas. Crashing usually happens when players are fighting monsters across different sections. The war camp before the gorgons is a big problem area in particular.
You can check the tqnet forums for advice on how to kill some of those seemingly impossible bosses. However, Arachne's Shame is part of a sidequest, and you can come back and finish it later if you're a completionist.
Thanks for the notice. The installer has been fixed now. You can use it to correct the problem, or use the manual package.
Thanks for the head's up. I'll see if Jiaco will fix the installer.
You know you're sorta beating a dead horse since I already confessed to speaking spanish badly, right? ;)

That's cold, man.
I already have a stalker. :( He's a lovely Italian guy who's made at least 30 tqnet accounts to send me messages. Lately he's been sending me messages as Red John and LaRoche. He and my mother are both big fans of The Mentalist.
So, I'm afraid that position is filled as well. And since you're married, there's no chance you can be my beard.

lol. It loosely says "your countrymen have "tomorrow'd" the translation too much, and now the deadline to add it has passed, and as you can see, my spanish sucks too hard to do it myself." :) The manana'd is kind of a joke, since the spanish are known to put things off, and when pestered to finish something, will often say, "tomorrow." ^^
I'm gay. Nerdflirting with me will be boring.
The assassin class is Warfare + Occult. It used to be warfare + rogue. It was never a separate mastery. You might be thinking of Rogue, which was changed into the Occult mastery. Though, I think maybe it's been a while since you played the original game, because Occult is still very much the Rogue mastery, but with a heavy dose of shadow magic.
Assassin class has not been removed from the game.
And Underlord is not compatible with old characters. You can restore your lost skill points with the Defiler.
There are a lot of people who are playing this mod their first time through the game. But it's tough hard to go from Underlord to the regular game, so if you want to try the game as it is originally, you should do that first.
Well, after you install IT, it updates TQ the first time you run it.
If the mod is installed, your background will be purple on the menu screen and the version number will be 1.5 UL (lower-right corner).
The starting gold was reduced back to 500 gold in 1.5. The news post is for 1.3. I've been waiting to announce this release until the installer is finished and to make sure the package is good.
There are install instructions in the README.txt.
Fanpatch 1.17 is included in 1.4RC. Some defiler mods do not work with 1.4RC. They have been fixed in 1.5 which should be out shortly.
It's a false positive. There will be no installer for 1.4, so I won't ever have to hear another virus report ever! yay!
It's all in that thread; read on. :)
Hey Trash,
I have a post outlining it on TQNet. I'm trying to get more information online, though I'm still visiting family for the holidays. But, in this case, I have it explained here: Titanquest.net
There's the release notes with the installer, but as for a count-by-count list of every change, that doesn't exactly exist yet. :) More info will come in January with the big 1.4 release. But for now, I'm spending a lot of time with Family.
Merry Christmas, nerds!
Compatibility depends entirely on the mod. Mods run on top of Underlord, just like the original game. So, when the mod uses the same records or resources, those will override Underlord's.
I will provide a list of compatible mods soon. Check the "Features" section when it lights up.
lol, ok. And, like I said, I appreciate people who take time to report bugs and to do so in an easy to replicate way. :)
But, you may find that your conq will fare a little better in 1.3 as Galefury has uncovered a pretty big problem with the way I had OA/DA calcs setup, one that was causing massive amounts of critical hits--the kind of thing an Uber player wouldn't notice. *cough* Basically, right now, DA is pretty lame and not doing it's job, and OA is overperforming.
Sorry, if there are problems with the blood cave, please let me know. The legendary chest will obviously be fixed. But, as far as it being too hard for you, that's not something I can help you with. I warn players before downloading Uber that if they're new, they won't have fun because it'll be too hard for them. Likewise, as the Blood Cave is so hard (not Uber hard, but pretty close in many ways), I can see where new players and casual players will find it frustrating and unfun.
But, I'm afraid you'll have to figure out how to spend your gaming time on your own. I can do nothing for masochistic players that insist on compulsively replaying a part of the game they find boring. I mean, I don't clear the Elysian Fields when I play now because I find that area to be too boring. If you feel compelled to run the blood cave over and over again, even though you're not having fun, I really don't know what to tell you. I mean, I'm spending a lot of words to be fairly diplomatic, since I really appreciate the detailed bug reporting you've done, but I'm honestly just trying to find a way to say, "Wipe those tears away and just kick more ***." ^^
lol, seriously, just play harder. I mean, you know, 2 of the 3 lead modders on this project are hardcore players who like extreme difficulty, so our personal bonus areas are going to reflect that. I've already scaled back the normal difficulty boost some, but further whimpers will fall on deaf ears. If you want a game that requires no player skill or judgment and just rewards the player for whatever random action they take, I'd recommend you check out that Torchlight game. ;)
