Thank you! I copied the original game code and changed the VarInts to 10 and 8 so I think it should work with other combinations as well

Thank you. It's 3 times bigger than the original because the original missed 2 entities and 2 music files which explains why the patch is so much bigger :D. There are some changes made like added sounds and I've relocated some of the items so they are easier to find.
Great walkthrough. But in the machine room you didn't actually start the lower part of the machine. You didn't pull the main lever next to the cogwheels. The big bug was there that if you left the level it didn't save anything so you accidentally started the upper machine twice. In the patch I scripted so that it saves when leaving the level.
There is a hatch key in the small room before the hatch itself

Hi! I've been fishing at local river so I haven't been on my computer lately. But today I have a plan to speedrun my custom and then upload Venture in the Dark 1.1 which contains saving at the end of each level (should fix bugs with locked doors), missing entities (such as beds, ragdoll grunt), missing music for prison and the mainhall, fixes for the machine room lever bug. Thank you for your patience.

There is hole in the wall. Pull the upper plank towards you and it should break the wall.

Thank you. I'll try to fix the bugs on this week and upload a patch that will contain that machineroom bug fix, matresses will be static, there will be some entities and music I found missing etc.

Also in the first cell you're supposed to use the crowbar to the prison door so you could escape the cell :P

The lever machine is buggy because I'm a bit crappy scripter so it actually needs to be very specific 10 and 8 sry about that (down, up, up, down, up, down) I'll try to fix that too.

Umm. Pull the right lever down -> place the left lever -> push the cogwheel so it starts running -> Pull the small lever next to the cogwheels. Now you should have a working door. (I don't think it has to be in this oder)

You're not supposed to go up there. You have to make an explosive and clear the rocks. When you have done that you can acces the room that has the hatch.
