What's to be said? I just a non-regular 19 year-old Argentinian :P I have a sharp interest in anything related to science and I love to put my mind into any subject, so beware to start a discussion with me! (chadaFACE would know). well, what else... I've had over 10k visitors to date, so that must mean that I'm quite popular (or so does my ego like to beleive). what else, what else... Oh I almost forgot. I'm a modest mission maker for the game Nexus: The jupiter incident, but I'll expand my horizons sooner than later. I'm currently working in the mod Stargate: War Begins (yeah, you've probably guessed I'm a stargate fan by now) as a mission maker and mild coder, and also trying to finish a damn book I've been writing since I was 12.

Ok lads, here is a recording of my first fully cinematic "mission" for the game nexus the jupiter incident.
This mission is storyline related and is available in the latest patch for the mod.
Disclaimer: The game is running on low settings, due to the fact that I use a laptop (do I need to explain this any further?)
and since that the recording (the whole 7min of them) wheighted as much as 1gb, I decided to convert it to mp4 reducing dramatically the size (roughly 54mb), so the movie is on low res, but I checked it and it's not that bad...
Well, I'll leave you to decide that. And please comment on it, I'd like to use your criticism (constructive criticism) to improve myself.

well it's quite nice, IMHO battle between two hives is too long, and I would like to be able to read dialogues :)
yeah, sorry about that... I was too thinking that the battle was too long, I'll shorten it a bit for the next release. these are the dialogs:
the hive arrives:
wraith officer:
We Have arrived my queen. The enemy hive is hailing us.
Wraith Queen:
Close all channels. We have nothing to say to them. Charge all weapons and move up against them. And launch all of our darts, this will be a fight to the death.
Wraith officer:
Yes, My Queen.
(when the hive is destroyed)
Wraith officer:
The enemy hive has been destroyed My Queen.
Wraith Queen:
Excellent. Deploy the remaining darts over the planet, let's take the spoils of this battle.
Wraith officer:
Yes, My Queen. (screen fades)
(when the cruisers arrive)
Wraith Officer:
My Queen, four cruisers have arrived! They have been identified as members of an enemy alliance!
wraith queen:
Well, what are you waiting for? Set a course to destroy them!
wraith officer:
My queen, we barely made it out of the last battle! This hive is no condition to withstand an attack of that size!
Wraith Queen:
we are not leaving this planet! Send all remaining darts and charge weapons!
(the cruisers open fire)
wraith Queen:
Why aren't we returning fire?!
Wraith Officer:
we've lost all weapons, and hull integrity is critical! I... there is nothing I can do!
Wraith Queen:
(angry growl) Charge the hyperdrive and take us out of here!
Wraith Officer:
Hyperdrive is not responding either, we're venting atmosphere in most sections, the ship is going down!
Asgard lost tribe:
The trap is set. What are your orders, My Queen?
