Have you ever been kicked off a server for no reason other than a clan wanting to power trip among their 12 members instead of hosting a 30 or 40 public skirmish or line battle? Yeah, me too.
The problem with them is that they're stuck to the old ways, back in the day where there were dozens of clans and units competing and fighting for championships and cups. Nowadays, there's no more than 6 line battle clans left and yet they carry on traditions and rules that they don't even understand the purpose of.
If you'd like to line battle, skirmish and compete but aren't backwards enough to think that shutting down a full server for a "training" is a good idea then I suggest checking out the 17th Regiment of Foot at www.17th-regiment.enjin.com
