The prblem to me isn't that they chase you down in packs, requiring you to run for high ground etc. The problem is that they can kill you so easily. It might just be my armour but I take more damage from dogs than I do from bullets! Thats just nuts.

Agree totally with this. I can fight stalkers and bandits fine but I go down hard to dogs everytime.

I second this thanks. The full version was just too lagy for me to enjoy. I didn't quite ****** though ;)

Can you actually do anything with the new misc items like photos, pda's and water bottles? Or are they just a source of income?

It would be nice to have some form of small stashes reintroduced as now there is no real reason to explore. Just my two cents though ;)

Tried stealth, they found me. Tried running, they chased me halfway across the map and ate me. Will try again but damn.

WAY too hard for me. Keep getting killed in two bites from a blind dog! Is there any way of dialing the difficulty down to more sane levels?
