Unfortunately I cant supply any of the media created while I was in charge, much to my own frustration, as the disk it was all backed up on has been damaged. I tried to salvage as much as I could with some appropriate software, and all I ended up with were age-old docs and jpgs with missing data. Drat.

Good question. I lost a lot of it when my computer went kaput but I'll see what I can dig up. You can find a bit of it scattered on some of the DeviantArt profiles of Gabe and co.

Dr.Zoidberg: It is teambased, so it wont be DM like Quake, but it will be fast paced. We have a strong focus on creating bottleneck areas in our maps near key objective points. That way the action is always going on, and battles are always important to win.

CS is very arcade based (despite its so called "realism"). Its maps allow for a bit more tangent solo play and random areas for battle. WA is more about a constant flow of action in specific areas, which is aided by respawning.

Thanks for the feedback. Its appreciated.

chris701: Yes, the mod was regestered a long time ago, and eventually failed due to a number of problems. I'm pretty sure I stated that in a previous news post. While we definately have some work to do, one of the main problems was the initial project was too ambitious. This one is less so.

Marouku: No, we are not reviving this just to "get people interested". We have full intention of bringing the project back, along with a number of other projects behind the scenes (in relation to WA). This is more than me "deciding" that I'd like to go it again, and has been in discussuion for awhile.

Dr.Zoidberg: No. There are very few, if any, similarities between this and CSS.

Steal people? Hah, have another hissy fit. We never, ever convinced or encouraged people to leave other mods for ours. In fact, I was never informed by any members that they had left a previous mod just to work on ours

People are capable of making decisions on their own, and if any modders from a mod of yours left to work with us then maybe it was because your underestimated their intelligence.

Someone left another mod for WA? Not my problem, nor my fault. Deal with it.

Added some concept art. Not big or major news, so I didnt bother posting this as news. A model of the pistol is being worked on.

In response to TheOtherChris.

The weapon art shown is not for the Mars faction, and the soldiers shown are the Mars faction :).

The weapons are for the Moon faction, which are more suited to that style.

As you may be aware our website link takes you to a terrible Freewebs website that I constructed.

Finding a someone with both great Photoshop skills and great web skills (HTLM + JAVA) has been difficult. As a result, just to have something up, I decided to use my web skills (or lack of) to whip up something. You can also see the use of my 'wonderful' Photoshop skills.

The point is the site shouldnt be hosted by Freewebs for too long. Hopefully it will end up hosted over at HL2Files.com, and then we'll work on getting a much better and fancy website up.
