I wouldnt use the 2.2 patch, 1.3 patch always seems more compatible, that is likely the problem. Try to use that one instead and use a mod manager, both are here on moddb.

I could not find it but I faintly remember seeing a mod page for the xbox conversions. maybe taken down now but either way xbox modding not easy. easier to try pc splitscreen modding
