Yep use teh alt fire on the heavy support weapons, if u want to configure what weaposn replace what in a any map then use Worms2k4 which has a nice easy to use menu. ;)

Hi,
Ive released a patch for 6.1 which fixes :-

- online and lan issues, the laser and combat zooms were not showing up on clients machines these now do show up. Some other online bug fixes.
- auto reload
- tracer fire for the MG
- auto switch weapons when 1 weapon is out of ammo.
- A weapon out of ammo is not longer selectable either.

There other features being worked on but Ive had alot of requests to fix the online issues from people who use the mod on a LAN.

Its a 70kb download, just put the files in your system directory and overwrite the old ones. Make a backup in case you dont like the new features!

Version 6 of the Remote Strike Weapon Mutator has been released!, it includes 5 new weapons and a host of changes to all 11 weapons with fixes and tweaks plus gameplay changes. The mutator works both ONLINE and offline with bots. Theres a mutator for the weapons if you just want to play quickly and these are all usuable with Switcharsenal and worms 2k3. Please remember to bind a key to 'reload' in the settings page of ut2003, you'll find it in the 'Remote Strike' section.

More range for shotguns

Mg much more blast radius on primary NO blast radius on secondary.

Gauss bayonet muzzle flash fixed

Recoil reduced on all guns, still some but alt fire is easier to fire now

Defender black now an auto shotgun, fires 3 heavy shot each fire makes the defender black relevant again as it was pointless next to the camo version

Major changes:

NO SELF DAMAGE caused by your own weapons being fired too close to you
{{NOTE: Please note that due to the increased damage radius you must score direct hits on your
taget to cause damage there is no more area damage caused by close hits on the
ground for example, this does woek well as you will find you need to control your recoil more
in order to kill your opponent - ie its harder to get kills now }}

RECOIL: The recoil has been adjusted on all weapons to reflect whether corouching or not,
if the firer is crouching the weapons is better controlled and therefore recoil is less , if the firer
is standing walking or running then the recoil is much higher due to a less stable firing position.

Other changes/fixes:

done - shotgun range reduced (15 metres wider spread)
done - flak monkey announcer taken out
done - pistol ammo mesh added
done - shotgun ammo mesh for camo defender added
done - shotgun spread increased in general
done - tweaked sound and anims for shotguns
done - mutator starts with 15mm Pistol and Bofors Light 10mm submg by default
done - weapon icons in better order small to large
done - credits
done - 15mm select anim adjusted
under review - (not sure whether to change it)LR2 sniper rifle/longrifle sound changed
done - replace ion and redeemer with a remote strike weapon for the remote strike mutator
done - change replaced weapons in main mutator e.g shotguns to replace flak cannon etc
done - Gauss Rifle now has 20 round capacity
done - Gauus bullets travel faster.
done - Gauss recoil tweaked due to much more powerful weapon
done - max range of bullets for all weapons

We'll be announcing it more formally next week but the beta is to be released next week, a successful internal release this week means were ready to go with stage 1 of the mod.

Hi,
As it explains on the site the public beta was released a while ago but atm the mod is being completely re modelled, the code etc stays the same ergo the public beta is still as complete as it was when we released but we wish to put the new models in before releasing again. Thats why we say we have a public beta that was released because it was , but that is also why we have 60% complete up, this is how far the remodelling has got so far.

Just a quick note, the renders are of the new weapons, the old beta version models can be seen on the main website in the weapons and screenshots section, we are currently updating the models but the code is complete.
