Thanks for the reply. Yeah, the first mockup was more detailed cause I wanted to get a better feel for the assets needed to actually make the game look kinda like that.
The abstract painting is mostly about colors and ambiance :) There's even more abstract mockups so you can imagine what those look like :D

We use Spine from Esoteric Software to animate the characters. We capture video with Fraps and make the gifs with Licecap.

O my, this is really good. The lines, the colors.
To try and use the animations we made for the male character we needed a broad shouldered girl. That's why she's not more slender.
And I kinda like my girls to be strong ;)

I would indeed! It's an amazing piece of kit. Good features, nice integration with unity and other engines, really nice UI, super easy to use. Love it so much that when I met one of its creators I gave him a hug before we even introduced ourselves. A bit of an awkward moment now that I think of it.
