Greetings my friends Back from hell and worse, I am a changed man
The Allied fortress in Hell, the captured Tower of Babel, is not only occasionally attacked by the forces of Hell but is under assault from unseen demonic spirits. The Allied chief psyonics scientist on site, Doctor Peter VanHorn, has created a specialized unmanned robot to be able to detect and destroy said psychic phenomena whereever they may arise in the base.
The psychic beings cause distress, uneasiness and paranoina among the staff and soldiers stationed in the base, so much so that a full 30 member psychiatric and psychic team is required at all times within the base to ensure that the men stationed there wont go insane.
The drones use a energy weapon of VanHorn's own design that uses subatomic particles to rip apart the entities on every possible level. They are also frequently used to assist Babel team soldiers in base defense against the demons or whatever other nightmarish things lurk within the blasted landscapes of Hell
VanHorn has gone over his calculations several times and has discovered a problem involving the destruction of the unseen psychic creatures. He claims that they arent truly destroyed and merely broken apart causing for loose psychic energy to be building up rapidly with every being destroyed and might cause something horrific to happen if it continues, but Allied high command has so far disregarded his warnings as just 'paranoia'

One of the drawbacks of the VanHorn Proton Gun is the heat discharge from it is massive, it needs to expend all its heat or itll melt the drone's more sensitive parts
