The Buzzer type is the most numerous type of roboticized Flood specimen the Allies have in their inventory. So much so that Allied high command will authorize access to large quantities of Buzzer types to any field commander that asks.
While a freshly roboticized Infection form is only good for giving the enemy some scratches, the modified end result allows for these nifty robots to slice through flesh, light armor with ease. They are often either sent out in massive swarms or attached to Reservist/Peacekeeper squads to act as anti infantry support.
They also make great infiltration droids if they are programmed for remote controlling. their small size and wide upgradablity with tools gives them a lot of customization options. Enough to the point many Allied commanders are opting out their regular spy infiltrators for specially modified Buzzer types
With the roboticization and upgrades Buzzer types are now much more effective than their non roboticized brethren
Theyre a bit harder to destroy than your run of the mill Infection Form, requiring several pulse rifle bullets to effectively disable a Buzzer Type
