The Dawn of Darkness project seem to have died around the end of 2000 (from what I can tell). There is a much larger download (Dawn Of Darkness - Episode One (35.7 MB) available from Fileplanet :

He does answer his emails, although he's usually mucho busy. Having said that, 2 entries for what is probably the best non-profession SP mod made for Half-Life, ain't a huge problem is it? :D
