I keep getting a CTD whenever I try to join Equestria in their war as the Griffins. What's going on?

I have a question, sorry if it's been asked there are a lot of comments, do you mean the game takes a long time to load when I start it up or when I make my character? I'm asking because the game has been sitting at "Loading Textures" for a long time as if it was frozen, but the computer seems to think it's fine. Is this supposed to happen, or not?
