the wwc saw that the krayt destroyer was very efficient in combat and that, at the same time, more and more multi-kilometer warships turned up. so they created this destroyer. it is based of the krayt, but modernised (again). it is armed with 1 heavy ion cannon, 4 heavy puls lasers, 2 nova tubes and 4 dual turbolasers. and although it has a few anti-fighter weapons, no hangar, it is not really vulnerable to strike craft, because it's
ALWAYS escorted by vanguard cruisers, wich, as you know, have heavy armor and decent weaponery. it's armor (of the transuilizer) is adapted to withstand heavy fire and missiles, at the dispense of resistence to smaller fire as stated above, together with the vanguard cruisers these can withstand heavy fire and knock out shields quickly. wich makes them perfect capital ship killers.
