As someone who plays with Agony and Campfires turned on, some things annoyed me. Looking for a fire pit inside a base was one of them, and so is the ridiculously close save range. Installing this is a no-brainer, and I appreciate it.
Fits STALKER well. Quests are more satisfying to progress with this in my opinion.
The only oddity I noticed is that it doesn't play back-to-back so well when rapidly completing multiple objectives/jobs. Most noticeable when turning all of them in at the same time, and you hear it once at the start but not again for subsequent turn-ins.
I asked them personally before if they would implement a system that allows us to tweak/toggle options, and they said they have a primitive menu atm that "looks like crap."(paraphrasing, not exact words) But yeah, that's something.
Very exciting stuff. Half-Life has kind of been popping off lately, and I think part of it has to do with mod creators like you. Thank you. I won't exactly hold my breath on this one, since stuff like this takes time. One day I bet I'll play this and enjoy it.
P.S.
I really appreciated that we could choose what features we wanted in MMod's mod menu in HL2. Will this have something similar, in-game?
