PS: It does seem to me like sometimes empty BPr servers to not show on the in-game server list? so you may have to connect manually by entering the command into the CLI like:
connect 162.248.88.40:6403
or
connect games.freaksmisfits.club:6403
unless another player is already connected.
Right now, bots are not working.
Tested-out BPr dedicated server, and player model animations seem to be working fine again!
At this point, the game no longer runs. Windows complains about the game DLL with an error such as ...
"could not load library C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life\snow\cl_dlls\client.dll"
So, unless the original developers still have the source code and want to recompile and associated troubleshooting, this mod is unfortunately now DEAD.

Tried to setup a Buzzy-Bots server on Linux (Ubuntu) again today, but no luck. Nobody is maintaining it and the Linux dedicated server build has long since stopped working.
LoadLibrary failed on /home/some-user-account/game201/./buzzybots/dlls/bb.so: /home/some-user-account/game201/./buzzybots/dlls/bb.so: undefined symbol: __rtti_user
Host_Error: Couldn't get DLL API from /home/some-user-account/game201/./buzzybots/dlls/bb.so!

You can still play this mod. Just install HL1 from Steam, then run the installer (on the downloads area as "Snow-War 2.1").

PS: I might add a SECOND Snow-War server, that there will be one dedicated to non-teamplay free-for-all modes, and another dedicated to team-based modes.

I am thinking about getting the WW server back up and running again. What's the latest build available? Client version and also a LINUX server version. If there's no LINUX server build, then not much for me to do.
So, I notice there is a newer mod with the same name and probably the same premise, that has at least got their 2nd alpha out:
The "Snow-War Lives!" server is back, yet-again - after yet another and hosting-provider change, and consequent and IP address change. Bot's are also now enabled, so that there is always someone/something to play with!
