Description

Prototype weapons of WW2
G-43 semi auto rifle prototype in 7,92x57mm Mauser with Kar98k bayonet lug and use of MG-13 magazines (25 rounds). This prototype should be a precedessor of regular serial produced G-43. Photo from famous American Aberdeen Proving Ground Museum (U.S. Army Ordnance Museum).
Sidenote: the MG-13 was a German light machine gun that pre-dated famous MG-34 and MG-42 machine guns.
