It is interesting that the Allied had as much advanced Technologies like nazi-Germany but people often simply ignore this.

Greetings From Germany :D

Description

Prototype weapons of WW2
Carbine M3 with M1 "Snooper" active infra-red scope. It is basically a standard selective fire Carbine M2 in .30" Carbine (7,62x33mm), just with a special T3 mounting for the active infra-red scope. Used in limited numbers in Pacific theatre (at Okinawa in 1945). At that time the carbine was called T3 after the mounting and the scope was called T120 as both names are on the picture.
When German "Vampyr" active infra-red sights were discovered, this weapon was improved and continued in service up to Korean and Vietnam war as a Carbine M3 with M3 "Snooper" active infra-red scope.
