NBK will be a remake of Dungeon Keeper 1. The aim is for it to load DK1 map files and for someone to be able to complete the original campaign using the NBK engine instead of the original DK1 one (+ features included in KeeperFX). There has been little work on it this year, if not none. Mainly behind the scenes work such as a (partial) a Linux port and increased performance.

The thing is there is a lack of developers - I try to contribute what i can from time to time. I expect to be able to put a lot more work into it around late January. If anyone would like to contribute, artwork, sounds or programming - Please contact me.

We actually had this feature working, but its disabled because it cased some other problems. The main focus now is networking an AI.

Well it was orignally planned to be open source. However it conflicted with the UDK licence - so it mostdefinitly will be free.
