We’re just entering the last hours of funding and wanted to thank you all for your steady increase in pledges and enthusiasm for add-ons! Today we’ll discuss the development of our Flex Goals, the finalized Archive, and our AMA later this evening!
The Archive

We’ve finished our series of community votes on the Archive. Based on your pick our Blood Imps have been working overtime through the holidays to put together the final odds and ends of the room. Today the chains come off of the door in our Kickstarter Demo and the Cultist is ready to get to work!
Flex Goals
We’ve had a bunch of questions regarding what flex goals we are able to deliver based on how much extra money we raise on Kickstarter (and continued funding afterwards). To be more transparent about this process we wanted to rank our Flex Goals for you based on “costliness.”
For example adding controller support will be relatively easier to do as it will only tie down a few members of the team and is a relatively simple challenge to overcome, the level we are currently at above our goal would allow us to develop controller support, and half-complete any one of the middle level Flex Goals.
Once we reach additional campaign chapters the cost and time goes up dramatically as there are far more people involved working to create the content for these goals. The highest tier of Flex Goals will require significantly more resources and time as they are completely new modes and complex systems — Or, of course, Richard Ridings.
Cheaper to implement (£25,000 and below)
More costly to implement (around £50,000)
Very costly to implement (£75,000 and up)
No matter how much we raise, every penny will go back into the game, and we will listen to our backers every step of the way in how they want this money spent.
First Time On Our Page?
Look No Further:For those of you just joining the project we've put together a quick series of updates for you to read over that explain various rewards, tiers, and add-ons for War for the Overworld.
How You Can Help
There are several things you can do to help:
T-Shirt Voting
Click here to go directly to the poll!

It’s been days since we had a vote — so today we’ll open up the polls to ask you which T-shirt two designs you want to to be made available for physical rewards and sent out for mass production Pick your favourite of the four options and let us know which threads you want to wear!
Please note: Those at the 'Swag Booster' tier and above will be able to pick from additional designs on top of those sent to mass production.
Dungeon Themes
You may have noticed that various reward tiers have additional “Dungeon Themes” as rewards within them. “Dungeon Themes” are complete reskins of your entire dungeon, this includes new skins for: fortified walls, dirt, claimed ground, Blood Imps, Dungeon Heart, and emblem. The current demo has the standard "Underlord" Dungeon Theme, below you can see an example of the differences between several Dungeon Themes.

The Dungeoneer’s Guide to the Underworld
The Dungeoneer’s Guide to the Underworld will be a rich volume filled with all sorts of fantastic information including (but not limited to):
This reward will be delivered digitally and is included in the £20 tier (and higher). It is also available as an add-on for £5.
Additional Availability for Limited Tiers
We've increased the available amounts slightly to give everyone a fair chance at access to these limited tiers:
Increase your pledge now to get these limited rewards before someone else does and help us reach our Flex Goals! Thanks for your continued support and for helping us this far (but let’s try to do even better!)Click here to discuss this update with us in the WFTO IRC
Until next time Underlord,
-WFTO Team

I want to cry. I personally cant back it ( no funds) But i will deff spread teh word. By the gods this has to be done right DX<
All this is so ... Badass. The return of Dungeon Keeper...
Suggestion for new room type, frost room attracts yetis and other ice monsters, downsize is having them in sleeping area of other monsters may drive them away or make them upset esp fire based monsters..
Sadly the showcase ran very, VERY slowly on my computer with MASSIVE framrate issues, so I imagine the alpha demo will be even worse. I'll have to upgrade before enjoying this beautiful monstrosity. :/
The showcase is obsolete.
Please play the "Alpha-demo" instead, as it has no issues with framerate.
The Alpha Demo was entirely remade from scratch, and optimized to run on any system.
We are aware of the issues the 'showcase' had, but that is behind us now.
Thanks
This makes my **** rock hard. I loved Dungeon Keeper and this looks very promising.
Didn't know about your kickstarter until now. Maybe you should promote it a bit more here on ModDB.
Here's the link, go there and pledge: Kickstarter.com
The entire first paragraph on our moddb page is itself a link to our ks if you click it :)
The last sentence on our introduction is - Please visit our Kickstarter page to help this game come to fruition - which is also a link.
Every 'news' I've posted here mentions (and links) our kickstarter multiple times too :)
Not to mention all downloads on our moddb say " If you enjoy please check out War for the Overworld on Kickstarter" in the description.
But thanks for linking it once more anyway :)
Ok, thanks for clarifying. Didn't notice that.
Anyways, I went there and pledged, this is gonne be good!
Thanks for the pledge!
Remember you are welcome to post any suggestions, ideas, or comments on our official KS page now that you are a backer..err...underlord...backerlord? XD
*psssst* we plan to have new fixes and features uploaded every weekend, including THIS weekend ;)
