It works like a charm :) anyway I hope to upgrade my PC or even better, buy a new one soon.
Thanks booman! :)
My system specs are:
AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0GHz
4Gb Ram
Win 7 32 bits
VCard GeForce GTX 750Ti
My PC is quite old, the only thing "new" is the VCard.
And I'm also impressed, to be honest in the past versions of blender (2.74) this scene had a fps drop, running at 40fps (20fps drop), but now with the LOD manager in blender and using Occlusion Culling it was possible :) and I think is time to do someting more elaborated, after so many years! finally :)
Yes, this are some test levels made in the blender game engine :)
Thanks :)
Thanks! :) Yes, it was not intended to be like that, but this happen due the 2dfilters at the start, but I liked too :)
Of course I will, Thank you for your sopport!
At this moment there is no story behind this scenario, I just wanted to recreate some kind of evacuated city with some remains of food services, transport evacuation in a desolated atmosphere.
As far as I can see, this game looks very promising :)
Are you working with a team? the character model looks very well done!
Hope to see more of this soon.
Thanks booman! all assets has been made by a friend and me in our spare time, there are some issues with proportions but I hope to improve it.
And yes, I hope to convert this into something more elaborated :)
Thanks again for your comments!
I think it's a good game, a bit short and maybe a major problem I had with it, is that I got stuck on several parts of the game, suddenly I was unable to move the player and the only way was to go back to game menu and start again... I have a bad habit of "game tester" and always looking for other ways or places where I can climb, etc... more exaustive testing would be fine in order to avoid player frustration during game ;)
Game art looks fine for me, considering it is a short game and time invested, congrats :)
Impressive! nice work! love that wrinkles on the clothes, very natural despite of the toon style.
Nice work! loos like if the character has some kind of exoskeleton.
Looks great, nice work! would like to see higher resolution :)
Lol.. that is a screencapture of my old game :O very outdated btw 2003 I think :)
This is my youtube channel with some videos of some test made in blender with actual features:
Youtube.com
I have downloaded twice (demo version), and there is some errors
"Failed to lainche item Deep Black : Reloaded, File is not a valid exe"
But just go to DeepBlack folder demo installation and execute DeepBlack.exe , this way is working well
Like that rainy mood
Like it, nice work :)
A little bit more of work with spec maps in general and normal maps in some areas ( like car glass) would give the final touch, nice work :)
Nothing more to say, looks very well done, just missing comparatives with references, I think :)
Nice work, but I would like to see with more work/detail in the texture instead of a single texture with hard surface look, :)
Looks very good, seems to have good proportions
Very nice, I like the mistery atmosphere and mood, I good work!

I used to work in the game industry as an artist, having worked in several games for different consoles and learned lots of things, after a while leave the mainstream and decided to start doing some project as indie, and/or collaborations with other indie projects
