Well placed house colour, or contrasting strips of white paint (not overdone, just enough to help define and draw attention to certain areas), could be used to help define the structure better (of course in 'real' life the structure is supposed to be hard to define from a distance, having it all a single colour, or where appropriate camouflage painted, assists this).
