Alright, for people who want to receive the Christmas Beta or Pre-Beta (I might not have all that I want in the new layout yet) E-mail me at agb0814 [at] cox [dot] net
You must state these things clearly:
1. Name you go by (In-game/forums) So that I can put you on the beta list.
2. Forum you want me to PM you on.
3. Why you should be a tester
4. If you have tested anything else please tell what.
5. Any additional ways you would like me to contact you (Optional)
Things I want: I want the map to be tested for any glitches, texture misalignments, brush misalignments. And if you have opinions/suggestions/comments please state them also. (In any Republic Cruiser WIP thread - same with bugs, unless you want to PM/e-mail me)
FPS might not be finalized (Been having leak problems, which isn't letting the VIS compile work) That is a huge thing right there, that If I do not have it fully working on the VIS compile... I do not want people to worry about that atm.
BETA TESTERS MUST ALSO BE WILLING TO HELP WITH FILMING FOR THE TRAILER! If you can't that does not mean you will not be able to test.
You also might have to lower your texture quality because this map has a lot of textures (Similar to Midgar V3) 256mb GFX cards should be med/high textures... 512 should be able to do Very High. Also do not run with Volumetric Shadows.
If you want to test this with a group of testers, please set up a passworded server without autodownload being on, and do not hand out the beta to anyone.
I do encourage all mappers to check out this map and give me feedback on this beta/Pre-beta.
