My point was that Square Enix is awfully protective of their property, and the dev team is fully justified in taking their time with these matters.
Besides, it appears the delay is due to procedures on SE's end, and the dev team are simply taking advantage of this time to polish up, and not intentionally delaying the mod and cutting contact to prolong development, unlike what some people were insinuating.
