Hm, nope. Somethin' i'd try is a clean install of FL. Only way I ever fixed things.
I've played the game through a few times, and I've never had that happen.

I dunno why that would be. You probably have bad virus detection software.
I've been playing CF for nigh on 4 years, and I've had to download the mod/FLMM multiple times, and I've never gotten a virus/trojan/nothing.

This is, quite frankly, the best FL mod out there. I've played all the others, including Discovery (the other FL mod nominee) and it doesn't come even close.
CF wins.
