Save the game every other step with a new file. Not a quicksave. The ol 'ESC' key option save. Don't ask why either. JUST do it. Maybe not every other step, maybe every third.

I have the same question. I have the upgrade, but I am missing the upgrade just prior to that one. So I am wondering if I need the middle slot for the Auto Tar. Acqu. to start working. I personally think they took that feature out of the game, I just wish somebody would prove me wrong.

Does automatic target acquisition work for anybody?

In regards to the automatic target acquisition upgrade for weapons. Is this upgrade now mute because the minimap has been disabled? I also cant lock on to targets with the binoculars.

I changed my resolution to 1776x1000 and I can finally read everything, then I change it back down a bit to play the game.

I have the automatic target acquisition upgrade installed on my rifle, how do I enable it? I have tried to get it to work at night with the night vision from the helm, during the day. Has this feature been removed from the game? Or could you please explain how its supposed to work?
Oh yah, and a fully upgraded binoculars decreases my weight limit...
