If you could, kindly make the spear the primary weapon and please enable the dropping of pole arms when switching to other weapons. It looks visually jarring when spears are on their back.

What are your plans with India? What dynasty or faction are you guys planning to use and what units have you guys got so far?
I am a huge fan of the roaring currents movie. Looking forward to this mod. Does the mod have a discord?
Hi, followed the tutorial. love the mod. Just a few sugggestions. The infantry seem to be charging with sword animation instead of bayonets. Also the Cavalry seem to be charging with lances animation instead of the sabre. looking forward to the progress of the mod
pretty sure its been aandoned. their discord does not work anymore
I have the steam version. I can install all other mods nomally, but this mod is just a bit confusing to install. I tried so many different things and none of them seem to be working.
oh no, I personally love the name. I was just just suggesting it for the wider community.. call it a branding. I would love to know what the other name u had in mind as well.
Hi I just want to make a suggestion to change the name of the mod. I would ofcourse be playing it but to get the wider community involved and interested, a more impactful title might be beneficial. Example might be "Road to Jerusalem", " A Kingdom of Heaven", "Deus Vult" just to name a few. Looking forward to the progress of this mod.
oh silly me. ur right of course. I also have a question about the army sizes. Richard 1 was said to have a contignent of 800 if i remember correctly. Also I am unsure how difficult it would be but it would be nice to see some english coat of arms in Richard's army.
Another question is that would Richard leave on october 1192? Am not sure if it would be difficult to add characters who pop in and out throughout the timeline of the mod. For example, you could add Robert de Quincy from Scotland with a small contignent of Scottish forces who leave at the end of their time in the holy land. I would be happy to provide help and research on different historical figures.
Any plans to add William Marshall on the mod?
I dont have the ui folder in my medieval 2 data folder. I copied the ui folder from the mod into the data folder of the module. this seemed to solve the white block issues. Now the issue is lack of texts here and there. the models look amazing. Hopefully u can sort the issues out.
I think the game is curropted. the campaign map doesnt look right at all and theres huge blocks of white rectangles across the screen
Just wanted to make a quick suggestion... you guys should read the Balian of Ibelin Trilogy by Helena P Schrader. Its a great set of novels but is also very historically accurate. This will help you gain so much information about different lordships, weapons, military orders and several other factors of the kingdom of Jerusalem.
I would also recommend that Templar knights who are taken captive should not be able to be hired into the sultanate armies. It is written that any templars taken hostage could not be ransomed so all of them were beheaded at the end of battles.
that sounds amazing.
Some suggestions might be to split scotland into 4 vassal states. and england into maybe 5 or 6. I am assuming there would be the ability to usurp and become King of the country?
also it might be fun to see scottish independence wars or welsh independence wars or other such scripted events.
All the best for ur mod and I will be checking regularly.
how would the vassal system work? for eg, the earldom of chester, is a vassal of the kingdom of england. How would that work in the game?
0TheLastTemplar0, sorry for the late reply. I just saw this comment. Of course I would love to help with the ancilliaries but I have little to no experience on code so I wouldnt be the person to ask. I would look into it in my spare time and get back to u if I can get a hang of it.
That is exactly what i meant. Thank you for getting back to me and all the best in the years ahead.
For the mercenaries, I would suggest maybe to implement bedouin camel spears and archers. I have also read accounts of jewish soldiers who fought alonsgside the muslims during the siege of jerusalem so this might be worth looking into. Another unit to look into might be the Pecheng tribesmen.
the mod looks amazing so far.
Wow looks amazing
Would they look more japanese in the mod?
or maybe the lance of st.george which they found in antioch in the first crusade.
There is a good theme for "non nobis domine" from the kenneth branagh henry V movie :

Hi, just quickly played as the Zamorin in custom battles. a huge factor that is missing is elephants. There would be large numbers of elephants in the kerala armies. Also the shield or buckler shape is wrong. the buckler would look more like this :

The map of kerala looks very accurate.
Thank you for getting back to me. The only time I know richard commanding crossbows was when he was ill outside the walls of acre and asked to be carried around and was firing crossbow at the walls.
Also ur absolutely right about his sigil. It does seem to have been 2 lions rearing up. Richard adopted 3 lions when he returned from the crusades. I cannot yet seem to find any accurate depictions of the helmet. But u must have some sources.
Also in most depictions of knights in that era, their horses would be barded. Have you guys got any plans to add any barding or caparisons to the horses?
Sorry I wasnt trying to be rude. I know about the lionheart (my name hello!) but the english royal arms were 3 lions and not 2. Richard was of the house of anjou and plantagenet and their coat of arms is this:
En.wikipedia.org(Royal_MS_14_C_VII,_100r).jpg
.
Also here was a depiction of him meeting king philip of france:
En.wikipedia.org
And also there is a historical record of 60 knights and 400 'archers' (a common term for longbowman in that time) who fought for Richard who were captured by his father after saintes was captured. It would be amazing to see longbows in this mod.
Is there the Kingdom of Israel and Judah present?
Weren't there 3 lions instead of 2 on the shield? also a crowned bascinet might be a better looking option than the current helmet.
