New to the modding community, currently studying how to mod to hopefully bring mods that are enjoyable. If even one person can enjoy a mod i've made, that's good enough for me.

i'm using the latest version of GZDOOM and i've tried this with other mods and with this mod alone. The menu doesn't show in any scenario for some reason

i have no access to that tomtefar menu at all. When i load the game up the tomtefar logo is there and the game plays with the extension but there's no menu to tune anything to my liking with.

During a gameplay recording tonight I discovered that picking up a demon transformation power up while you have one of those portable turrets equiped in the BD starter pack will leave you unable to unequip the turret even when power up is done which means you have to load an older save to get out of it.

Just thought you should know about it

I wish there was a way to play the mod with every new sprite EXCEPT the basic assault rifle. i feel like the v20b assault rifle's new look makes a perfect couple with the carbine.

What's going on with the duel wielded auto-shotgun sprite? It always looks great in the screenshots and it looks great when reloading them but when just aiming them normally, or firing them they change to this really weird looking sprite than makes them look funny.

Noticed something:

When you aim down sights with the shotgun, it switches back and forth between the vanilla PB shotgun and the black one and it's very jarring.

EDIT:

It Works with a controller, and IMO the weapon wheel is a great idea, but it could use some improvements. I think instead of having a mouse cursor that you tediously have to move and click the number with, if you made it more like the new DooM or GTA V's weapon wheel where all you have to do is move the mouse or the icon in the direction of the number you want for it to highlight it could save time and really improve the wheel. SLowing down time instead of freezing is a good idea too, but i'd rather see the other improvements instead if possible

You'll have to excuse my occasional typos as i have a life and responsibilities outside of some random mod forum. But you must be SO cool for making bloated grammatically correct comments to try to seem cool and special over the Internet. Anyway, Who are you supposed to be exactly? The copyright police or something? if so you're doing your job backwards. look up the fair use act (the same act that's protected youtubers, their outros, gameplay videos ect ect for a decade) , which protects from copyright claims and you'll see you're barking up the wrong tree. The song is fine in the mod, because the mod is not under sale using their product for profit. Which only leaves you not wanting it to be in the mod because you dont think it fits. In which case,

Oh well.

i was recording earlier for my youtube walkthrough and imp caught me off guard by jumping off the ceiling and gutted me in a death animation so i know for sure they work. Look in your settings and make sure you have the "show death screen" set to "yes"

i like the smg just the way it is with laser sight. we have enough dual wielded weapons already. The smg fires pretty wild without the laser sight which is needed because the bullets are weaker per hit so every shot counts. I think it's a little weird that the mag is on the side of the gun but besides that the smg is fine the way it is

Let's not turn this into a old gaming vs new gaming opinionated flame thread. We're here to talk about DooM. Anyway, if you want the marines toned down maybe he can make it a toggle option or something, because i like my fellow marines just the way they are

^ i agree with the above statement. One thing i like about this mod is that it's alot easier to do fatatlies especially with the right hand punch. Where as it feels like sarge nerfed it in v20 which lead to me never really bothering with fatalities in vanilla because it took too many hits to actually execute one which made it not even worth the risk of damage to get in close. If the quick punch could act like the secondary right hand punch damage wise and allow fataities gameplay would go SO much faster and smoother. It doesnt really seem to help use human shields for downed enemies either which pretty much just makes it an alternative to the kick right now. If he could make the quick punch grab human shields for enemies bleeding out and fatalities for regular ones that would make it so much more useful

Maybe the monsters can use some fine tuning in who they target, but as far as nerfing the marine's goes i have to disagree. I had a team of 3 other marines and me and we took on that room in DooM 2 that had all those barons and Cyberdemons in it like a team as opposed to them all just getting destroyed and making all the effort i put into rescuing them pointless like in v20. If he could have monsters target marines just as much as the player id be cool with that but as oppssed to nerfing their health and power: i'm completely against it. They'd die too easy otherwise and im liking the feeling of putting together my own little marine team that comes with me

I personally like that the marines are more competent now. Before in v20 they were weak as **** and couldnt do any real work that helped. Which made them pretty useless to alot of people like me. Now when i rescue a marine i know he's going to be a real ally.
