It seems to be that yes, but it's going so fast it's hard to tell. It does seem to happen immediately after they kill an enemy.

No, it's not the smooth wiggling back and forth.. It's very quick twitching while simultaneously having a verbal grand mal seizure.

The looping chatter is most definately not fixed. Maybe you patched the wrong files? That might explain why it seems to be working on your end.

Phr00t,

Tried new patch... looping chatter is NOT fixed.. I hit it again immediately. To test, I created a new character to see if a new game was needed to get the fix. Nope, didn't even get out of the starter town and hit it bad. Also, the bots are "twitching" like they are trying to start a different AI routine and failing utterly.

Some additional discoveries on this issue... It seems to happen mostly after friendlies kill a nearby enemy. (Perhaps when there are no other enemies?)

Hope this helps.

Having played previous betas I can assure you this isn't what is happening.. They are getting "stuck" and the voice over is looping. (I don't even think it's finishing before being repeated..)

I'd suggest starting a game, and recruiting several bots, and then play for a bit to see what I'm talking about.

AI robots should always follow the same rules as we do in terms of gun accuracy and ammo, with "balancing" occuring after that. Games that don't follow the rules really REALLY annoy me. The robots don't even seem to need to reload like we do AND are almost 100% accurate even with multi-shot guns at nearly any range. Moreover, their "hitbox" is tiny compared to ours. I've seen their shots clearly going wide of me but of course it counts as a hit anyway.

You have this done well in 3079, as the enemies are pleasantly inaccurate most of the time without being cakewalks. I just can't deal with the laughable graphics in that game. I guess I'm not understanding why you can't duplicate that in 3089.

Bug report with latest beta,

Clustered robots seem to have a vocal spam issue since last patch, almost like they are getting "stuck" saying the same thing.. I haven't noticed a solo robot doing it though, which is alittle odd to me.

PhrOOT,

Can you please consider lowering the accuracy of the AI robots? At this point it's alittle ridiculous that they very rarely miss at any range, even with guns that shoot multiple projectiles.. (We miss like mad with those..)

If your concerned about the game becoming too easy, just slightly increase the damage they do when they DO hit to compensate. I want to be able to get into fun firefights where my movements actually seem to have an effect on the outcome. As it stands, It barely matters what I/we do as they will hit us anyway.

Other than this gripe, the game is great fun!

Monster damage seems to be out of whack after the recent patch.. Getting two shot killed at the very beginning of the game with almost no way to defend yourself is going to be very offputting to some new players and will hurt your game.

Either fix the damage or give us a better way to defend ourselves. (25 shots is NOWHERE near enough given how fast the monsters spawn.)

Also, is the bow and sword really supposed to tickle monsters? It seems to me that given the work we have to do to FINALLY be able to properly defend ourselves at the beginning of the game, the weapons we get would do more damage then throwing a wet noodle at them. This issue is exacerbated even further now that monsters hit like Chuck Norris!

Edit: I'm reading now that I need to repair my game installation to fix the mob damage, but I had already hit repair and it didn't work.. Any suggestions?
