Hey, the Mod is great but unfortunately I can not play it in Multiplayer (Local Area Network). Whenever me or a friend try to join a game the other has created it says that we have a different version. Although we both installed it with the neweset version here and the exe from GOG. Any Idea what the reason is?

Unbelievable what you allready achieved there. Definetly thumbs up! You captured the feeling of the movies very nicely.... but are you sure you are not afraid of a cease and desisit? the high degree of professionalism with which this pre alpha is already made could make rights holders nervous. at least that's how it was with the skyrim project back then.

Hey, i wonder if the prototype ambassador (probert design) has made it into the game?

What about an ingame refit option just like the galaxy class has?

Besides that I totally agree with Battlemage1 and ShadowBroker:
She's a whale, nevertheless a noble whale ;-)

In a way that is really a tng era classic aspect. If you look at the galaxy class, nebula class etc. there is definitly this "mothership" feeling with them, which arouses in their design... like watching a big mom-whale :D.
And Enterprise D actually became mother ;-)

So I think excalibur fits more in tng while polaris fits better with later designs, like the sporty Enterprise E.
And because these two primary designes are present in the STA3 Fleet of the federation I also prefer to chose between them when it come to chose a titan, regardless of their abilities.

But it would fit much better with the Phoenix. Could'nt you lower the overall stats of the ambassador so it will not be overpowered? Considering it was the best ship of its time, but is now much older than the Phoenix or Nebula.

I think Excalibur is still the Star Trek game we all have dreamed of, since the announcement of Bridge Commander and despite the disappointment after its release, but because of the commitment of many Fans/Modders.... That was the moment when I realized that a really good Game for a Franchise like Star Trek can only be done by fans for fans.... it may take time, but in the end it will become a real Star Trek game where the true spirit and the legacy of Star Trek can live on!

I'm also a follower of this project since its beginning 10 Years ago, but a silent One.

The reason why I break my silence is that I want all the volunteering Devs know that there are still many Fans out here that still believe in this project and have never stopped to do so, even if the progress of it was not as fast and consistent as we hoped.

The change to UnrealEngine 4 is corageous and surprising but even more surprising is the progress, shown in the video, you have still achieved and which illustrates that the project and the fighting spirit of its Developers is still alive!

I wish you all the Best Excalibur Team don't let people like darth252 drag you down... Mistakes are part of the game ....otherwise real progress is not possible... thats life... after all I'm more sure than ever that Excalibur will become a great game ...

Because after all you guys are still working on it and have not give up!!!

Last but not least there is another Trek-Fan Project you should check out, if you are not already aware of it! On the website below is a very promising approach on modelling the Enterprise D and its interior in UnrealEngine 4, maybe the developer would be glad to work together with you guys!
