They don't add anything major to be a separated factions. Rhudaur is pretty close to dunland concept for exemple, while dorwinion is close to Cardolan, this only based on the possibilities for the playstyles and gameplay they can offer.

As stated previously in the article, the big majority of the Eriador's roster will be changed. Such as skins, names and even units designs to be looking like a proper Cardolan, with entirely new gameplay and tactics.

The special unit types like ghots, ents or mounted nazguls will be added in rebels which will be playable in custom battle for special scenarios alongside other special troops, for organized battles or troll battles in 2nd era.
Heroes Models will be added for special units in their respective factions as officers, those units will be usually locked to.

Not planned at the moment.

I already divided the Dwarves into Khazadum and Erebor/Iron Hills for now.

-Azog's better textured model is planned.
-Balin's new textured model maybe. Or i will just take the old one for now.
-Lurtz is added for Insegard tho!
-The rest is still under brainstorming!

In the next patch upgrades will be back and will be extremelly important!

Gundabad + Rhudaur is the true Angmar, but since rhudaur most of the time isn't truely fleshed out, the time has come for this faction to shine brighter then ever! It will have a really unique playstyle! Wait and see!

Cardolan Armies are unknown and never explained. But 1 thing is sure, they were pretty rich du to their merchant like kingdom and could afford such soldiers. So it works in *what if* reasoning.
