Yeh, the final design does look alot like a Land Raider (in particular the flame-spewing Redeemer variant)...but that's okay, the Land Raider does have a cool design. So long as the Harkonnen vehicle army doesn't end up looking entirely like a Space Marine Tank Regiment, it's all good ^_^.

Agreed with Stephanovich, the EMP Cannon was brutal in Tiberian Sun.
Infact, it pretty much made tank rushing in the game near impossible.

After Red Alert Westwood stated alot of players complained about tank rush prevalence, so they introduced the EMP Cannon for Tiberian Sun.

To be honest, when combined with slow unit build speeds in Tiberian Sun (as multiple factories didn't increase build speed as they did in RA), it was probably one step too far in making tank rush less viable.

I believe it's still EA that own the rights? And if other projects, like A Path Beyond or Renegade X are anything to go by, there is very little chance they'll shut it down. Probably support it, actually.

And maybe it's just that Dune is near and dear to them; Making your own universe is cool and all, but sometimes you want to celebrate a universe you already know and love too.

Dunno, the graphics here seem to have a nice old-school charm to them, like the original Red Alert. The graphics in Tiberian Dawn for C&C3 look nice, but also look more modern and less true to the original C&C.

I have to agree; If this mod was released it looks so good I would probably also buy UT2004 just to play it.

Why can't Sega make them like this?

In true Sonic style, the voice acting could do with a bit of work though ;). Otherwise the game looks gorgeous and looks like it plays fantastically.
