Glad you liked it! To be honest, I'm not a big fan of sprucing maps up, which is why it looks a bit bland. I find more fun in screwing around with re-contextualizing SOMA'S awesome assets with new gameplay and stories. Incidentally, after I've finished my current horror focused story, I plan on making a third-person hub-based action-stealth mod (that's right, third person, it can be done, :P), and a collaboration would definitely give me more time to focus on coding the hub/camera, winkwinknudgenudge, :P
Might be because the maps are big and exploratory, I'd decrease your graphical settings if it stays laggy after the first 20 seconds or so.
If you get a chance, try running with an older version of the mod launcher (If the other stuff didn't help, this probably won't either, but maybe you can get a better log out of it.)
I can confirm it works on the most recent version of GOG SOMA, seems the GOG Mod Launcher and the Steam one are now identical, much to GOG's detriment. Kind of a baffling flaw, but all's well that ends well. :D
If you're still having issues, it might be because of a recent GOG update to the mod launcher since they basically copy/pasted it from the steam version, going back to an older version of the mod manager fixed all issues, so it might help you guys. If anybody wants to try it, uploaded it here: Moddb.com. That being said, the steam_api64.dll replacement worked too, though my friend had no patience for being told "Steam API failed to initialize." on a non-Steam install, :P
Download it again. As it says, 'incomplete download'
The moment the download becomes available, moddb is going to crash! lol
