Well maybe when you are in single player you have New Campaign Galactic conquest and skirmish battle . I think there can be historycal battles where the player can play with both the republic and the CIS but with the exact units that participate in the battle . And these battles are from the episodes of clone wars . For example in the episode Storm over ryloth you have 3 republic crusers against the sepratist blocade . So when you play with the republic you can start only with 3 venators and when you play with CIS you start only with the blockade over the planet. And in these battles you cant have reinforcements .

I dont even know if it can be done in this game so i am just suggesting and asking . :))
