i do not think that CARNIUS will place the Vanilla GDI and NOD in the game because of the balance, as official version.
her @CARNIUS, what about a only funny version what will called diffrent to the offical version, with the vanilla GDI/NOD without editing the balance, only to see how it watch.
so stop waiting, and play the actual version!!!!!!!! the next version come when it's ready!!! so stop asking.
I have a little problem with the Cyborg Commando, in the GDI: Temple of NOD mission, the Commando is build FAST and destroy my in seconds. OK a Commando Unit must be very Power full but there must be something, to defend.
yes there was an Article, but only for version 1.2, I'm wondering why they haven't write something about 1.3, from the point of view that the screen-shots were already there before the gamestar was released.
Really the best mod I ever played.
Question: will there a little bug-fix (that were fount after the release) release as 1.4 (with re-balanced stuff...), and 1.5 will bring new stuff.
Or must we wait for 1.4 with new stuff and the fixes??

I have now played some maps, with GDI and NOD, her my comments and suggestions:
+I think you the change list is not complete, because there are improvements not mentioned, like Icons, animations for the Drill-Upgrade...
+new GDI Unite not mentioned the MEDIC
+you models are great and I can say as professional as the Original EA models (I will not say better, because I think EA has do there work good enough)
+with this mod I feel like I play a new game, with new possible tactics, a rethinking, what units to builds first....
-the EA GDI models have a lot more Metallic-silver textures, what fit not so good with you models that are more brown-gold, a color change for the EA units would be great
-last time I asked for the animation of the NOD-Drill-Upgrade and the Orca-Bomber Rotors you answer was that the element are to tiny because of that they do not realy need animation, but know you have spend the animation to the drills, is it possible to become too animation for the Orca-Bomber, too make the mod more perfect?????
-I do not know if the NOD-APC was you first Unite, but (I will not critic you) beside the other Unites, that one is from the design very simple to not say ugly, and fit not with the quality and details of you other units, it would be nice to became there a better model.

Question, will the ugly-Icon Problem fixed in version 1.3?
there was never before such a MOD I played so much. I really like it. My fist suggestion where from my first impression (like the not turning Roller-Spikes.... what is in the playing not really visible) because of that i will make some more suggestions/comments after a more playing experience:
*from the graphic view:
-there must be a possibility to got sharper Icons, because other mod's have them to (it will watch a lot more professional)
-a better Icon for the GDI-Wall (the NOD-Wall-Icon is good)
-the rest i like a lot, here only a question are you GDI-Fan? Because i find the GDI-Unit's optical a lot better done, if it where that you spend more time and more love in the details.
*from the balance:
-I find it good for the moment, i can play with every faction without having a feeling that I'm over- or underpowered.
*idea's for new unites:
-there are some people as me asking for a NOD-repair Unit, what about something in the GDI-Rig Stil, but let me explain:
+a mobile Unit that drive slow
+can extract like rig but with different abilities
+made in place it will become a very-good protected Stealth-Generator with repair drones.
I thinks such a Unit would be nice for the NOD gameplay.
Another question, I'm think that you must build new version of the mod for you personal-test's. Is It possible, post them as beta's?

I don't know if it is a bug from you or from EA but the Mammoth MKII stop's when an normal infantry is in the way
first, respect for this MOD, the best Tiberium Wars mod a the side of Tiberium Wars Advance. but some little glitches for teporting :
-the Mammoth MKII make sometimes glitches on the map surface
-the Orca-Bomber has no animations on the Rotors
-the Nod APC... and other Tunes-Units have no Animation for there Spike-Roller
-is it possible to get more sharper Menu-Icons?
-a better Icon for the GDI-Wall
