Hmmm i now played as Panzer Elite and took the(forgot name...)''airbourne'' doctrine, i tried out the Panthers and..
Wow! The Panthers were much much better than when i've usually
played as Wermacht , the panthers seems much weaker in comparession
with panzer elite panthers, are they even the same model or do the PE
have different stats on their Panthers?
I dont know if it's me using the panthers alot better, but it seems
like the PE panthers were much better overall than the Wermacht ones.
Is that so? The wermacht ones seem so much weaker for some reason, or am i wrong?

I play version 4.8.1.0
and havent the latest patch, what difference is there really in
between with this in mind when it comes to Panthers?

I only play against computer because i like to not stress out
victories and play in my own pace.

Just curius.

I was thinking, we all know these trucks you can mostly get which is hardly any use?

I have an idea, dunno if this is too hard or anything to implent
or requiring new animations or something but wouldn't it make
the trucks ingame more usefull if they were to be able to drag
large anti-tank guns to new map locations?

Say we have the Pak-43, large, slow, it got alot of firepower
but it takes ages to get to a new location due to it's size,
what if it and the Pak 88 could be transported through some
sort of wagon with the trucks ingame, adjusted in place
and then upgraded/unpacked as stationary emplacements?

Say you buy a Pak 43, you want it to be at the other side of
a large map, the trucks could get more use by transporting them
, unpacking them and placing them on the particular place you want,
you can then in similar style as british unpack/upgrade them into
more heavily defensed fortifications with sandbags e.t.c and also
unpack and move them. Sounds interresting? Pak-43 could then use
an emplacement style of fortification as well and unpack it and
be transported. And this doesn't have to exclude the smaller anti-tank-guns but they too can be transported, goes much faster than
having them being dragged induvidually to a map location. Interresting?

Sorry if this sounds stupid or anything, i have no idea if it would
be alot of work or if it makes for a balance issue but the idea was
to make the trucks more usefull instead of just transporting units.

Anyone finds it interrestin at least in theory? I am not sure if it would fit into the mod or if it would be too complicated, just thought it could be interresting at least on paper.

I came up with a thought, it would be kind of funny if let's say German heavy tanks all have some sort of camo funktion, you know if you have a panther or a tiger, they could ''dig in'' into the ground, having sand bags and bushes around them and it being usefull in the beginning of an open plain, like if you have your Tiger settle down just before the open plain and have a large open field to hunt enemy tanks for, and being very hard to see unless enemies are very close the camo will be gone for the moment after a shot is fired and not if it's too far away.

It could also work like if you took buildings and held the mouse over them you could have an option to ''dig in'' to them as well, let's say you take a large building like an aircraft barack or a church like bulding or something the tank rolls in, settle in, and have like infantry increased protection by a good rate. The building also give the tanks a sort of camoflage and unless enemies are really close to the building while the tank inside fires it is invisible over distance.

This would in some sense make it interresting to approach villages or cities in maps since you have the element of suprise to have in mind, the enemy player might snipe all your tanks before you get close if he has set up really good and it could possibly force you to be a bit more careful. Anyone finds this intterresting on paper?

Buildings hosting tanks in cover could possible also crush the tank if it's a large enough building and the cover is too broken as another element that forces you to take care of your tank and take it out before the cover is destroyed? That would be one achilles heel of the cover, what can protect you can also destroy you as well.

I allmost never see people online with the mod anylonger, i do have the latest patched version though, i think i reckon when it was like patch 4.50 or so i could join people from time to time now i never see people, why is that? :(

I saw someone 20 minutes ago who wouldn't wanna play, and he/she was rare, allmost never seen anyone for days it seems, so it's hard playing with people, i'am thinking perhaps to downgrade and go down with patches if that's the issue with people not having same patch :(

It's boring allways playing agains't the computer all the time :(

Sorry i dont wan't to whine or anything i just wanna check if it's something wrong or what that causes it.

It's not that i ''need'' it higher i just wonder if it's a bug or intended that way that's all :P

I personaly love being able to block a bridge completely when the allies pour their shermans , using long range firing mode and halting attacks with just 1 single unit, that's pretty cool when it get rights ;)

I've been thinking about something, and that is tank commanders.

Isn't most units supposed to be able to get like over 3-5 ranks when they have killed alot of enemies over time?

I yesterday tried P.E and used the tank doctrine, then i build a King Tiger and put a tank commander into it, i think the tank killed something like 89 heavy vechicles, close to 400 infantry, 4-5 houses or something, 40-50 or maybe more light vechicles and i thought when i looked at the tank commander, shouldn't it ever raise over 3?

It seems that no matter how many units a tank has killed while a commmander has been into it it never goes up above 3, is that normal or is it a bug or what? Are they capped at 3 the tank commanders?

Just curius over it if anyone knows.
