I do wish I could help them, I did mod this game a bit, figured out some thing out on my own and watched the modding videos. But I have been keeping a list of things I seen during my campaigns that are not game ending. Just little things, like missing text and unit ui's. Simple stuff that has been over looked.

Yes that bug is do to there being two ";" not erased in the campaign script data file.

If you want to use the Palantir play Third Age mod or play MOS as TheBlindSorcerer1 said, you just press F3 as the form says. The Palantir only reales a little bit of the fog of war and it is random. When I used it I got to see the dearest of Harad but there was no road or any unit. Not very useful spies are better.

It is totally different Divide and Conquer the Palantir acts like a bones building or guild building if you like.

1. For the Dunedain it allow them to retrain their units with 1 experience.
2. For the Elves they can do that for their Archers.
3. For the dwarves they increase mining output all over their lands.
4. For everyone else they get 250 gold coins per turn.

If you play the game for about 80 turns more or less the Ents attack Isengard. If you play as Isengard it depends on what you do. As for the spiders cause the game to crash not all the computers can handle the spiders so they have being removed. But there is one rebel spider unit in Mirkwood somewhere that the team overlooked. You go find it and fight but it will crash your game later. But for version 1 it has being removed.

If you play as the Elves you can go to Fangon Forest and hire Ents as mercs.

Have you changed any of the game files?

Now if you are playing as a good faction you find this as annoying, how to stop this without kill the entire faction. By taking over Dol Goldur, Barad-Dur settlements the Nazrgul will not respond unless taken back by the original owners. Do be aware that if besiege the settlement the Nazgul will respond you have to take it over. The same goes for Isengard but only if they get the ring and bring it back to Isenguard.

And if you are playing as an evil or middle men faction same thing applies.

The 2 Ered Luin Nobles assigned to each unit of the Ered Luin faction do not stand or attack like the Noble in the general’s company. They are act like the Forger unit of their faction can their behavior be changed to the way the Nobles do, as two handed axe unit?

The town Buzra-dum is located south of the Elves of Mithlond. From Thorin's Halls go down until you hit the sea. Be aware there is rebel army on the other side of the river that is the border line to the south. On the way there is a small village called "Perth-en-Lhun" take it if it still belongs to the rebels scum other wise the Elves will. After that keep going south, you will hit the border of the Mithlond Elves, suggest you bring the diplomat to secure, trade rights, alliance, and military access. If you don't they will be angry at you and my attack. If you want the allainces you may have to give them money and the village you just took.

Now just follow the road it goes down and there a detour to the right take until you come to the bridge then go south until you hit the mountain. Keep going on the road and will find the town Buzra-dum.

Now from the first turn you can just move the camera down from Thorin's Halls until you se the bay that below. Keep going down and will see a mountain range, there is a rebel town on the right side of that mountain range. That the town of Buzra-dum so can get a picture of where you are going. Don’t take to long because the Elves or Bree might take it.

Did you set all of your video settings as low as they can be? My computer's video card is not that good so I set everything to low or lowest but you can keep the troops at huge and it works as it should.

For the crash in custom:

1. If it crashes when you first open the game up and you click on the custom battle and it closes automatically then you need to reinstall it.

2. But there is a crash when you go first to campaign then back to the menu then click on customs it closes as well and it does the same in revers. Don't worry it is fine just open the game again but pick campaign or customs, but don't go back or your have to start again.

3. If the game crashes when your in a battle try lowering the settings, if not go to Total War Center.

In the conquered settlement you have to build a Dunedain camp or barracks to build the other human units. Now you can build good and evil factions units but only a specfic units of that faction not all.

Hello Galudirthon I am Dan and I love this mod, as I have been playing I being making a list of things like building icons show twice in the menus, some sea trading questions, kill the faction crash, some voices report, and unit and settlement questions and request. Now what is the best way to report this information here or at TWcenter, if there can you let me know the exact place. I would like to help please let me know.

I also thank you for your videos the installer and modding videos they have been very helpful. Your Overviews and campaigns are great.

Ok it found out that in my game that it was because it was the last settlement of the faction and it had a general in it. I cannot claim the settlement after I clicked on the "Occupy, Sack, or Exterminate" buttons and I went back to my desktop. I tried with the Dwarves of Ered Luin and Lindo and both times it did the same thing. I had to use the cheat (surrender_regions faction name) command to get Angmar out of the settlement to claim it from the rebels.

I see what you mean I'd taken Lindon to Angmar to see about the Carn Dum issue and but I have the problem with Morva Tarth, which is the village in the Ettenmoors, And I had an army going for Litash the castle close to Gundabad, I attacked the army of Angmar that was right outside the castle so dure the forces inside the castle out to get rid of them in the field, but in the battle the game keeper freezing. Could it be that the custom battle maps effect the the out come? But it makes no sense since I can always play the battle it just crash after the battle in the case I'm taking a settlement or if it is the fate of the settlement the battle freezes in the field.

No I know what it does, I didn't ask specify right, Can missile units be trained to have a melee? I know you can do it with the cheat, but I don't want to use that I like training everyone more fun :)

There should be a Mumakil Drill Square can you build that building, I think once the barracks events pass and the village of "An Karagmir" is upgraded into a town there is a Mumakil Drill Square in the "Building Browser."

Console commandas I believe are the cheat codes for the game

auto_win attacker, but when at the battle scroll, input this code and press "auto retaliate button." Automatical victory. My question is what is the "auto retaliate button."

Question did you kill every enemy in the settlement? Because I had the same problem as Gondor and Dol Amroth when taking over Mordor if I end the game when the option screen to "end the game" or " continuo" it crashed when I got back to the campaign map. So I let my forces take out everyone haven't and I had that problem again.

I have a question when I play hotsest campaign just myself, I play as Gondor, Dol Amroth, Ered Luin, and Lindon Denethor after the turn one he move anywhere. He can only move two spaces if on a road and if he goes off road he is stuck there until the end of the game or he is killed. Also when I get to the Elves of Lindon Master Cirdan cannot move at all, only a bring a ship to Mithlond he can get on but he and the ship are stuck there until the end of the game or destroyed. I understand this are bugs It has been like this since the beta came out.

Never mind I have figured it out I found out that there where 2 files for third in program files. One in the programas an other in program files x86. I deleted both and and reinstalled third age. Then installed version 0.5. Apparently it likes to install in program files x86 and that doesn't do any good you have change it to other program files that way the launcher can read it. Thanks anyway can' t wait to play

Hello am new I love this game, but I having trouble with version 0.5 I can't play. I am a disk user, I have done the following:
1. Uninstalled third age with the DaC beta and gone to the sage file en deleted the third age folder.
2. Installed the third age part 1 and 2, then the patch 3.2.
3. Downloaded the 0.5 1, 2, 3, and 0.51 using google chrome.
4. Installed each one in the order that I downloaded using the "run as administrator" option. The computer automatically adds the data at the end of where to store information. that is not a problem.

Then I go to the third age logo and click to play and it still launches just the third age no divide and conquer. And it does the same thing if I rename third age to the other medieval games and use the launcher. What am I doing wrong? Please I would like your help.
