Well, speak of the devil! We are currently planning to make a version called "ACM Classic" which will be an overhaul and upgrade of the original Absolute Corruption, optimizing it for non-steam versions (although you can play it on steam also). It will be playable on all formats. We will release it here hopefully during the Christmas season, so sit tight. We will probably start promoting it relatively soon.

Yes, it's here for Steam users only. We just upgraded to version 3.0, and this is for players who have Steam and want to continue their old saves from the previous version. Sorry- until they patch disc and GoG this mod will be unplayable outside of Steam.

I'm afraid so. There is simply no point in releasing a mod that won't be playable, although once the new version 3.0 comes out later this year or early next year we plan to release the current steam version here as a legacy upload. I strongly recommend upgrading to Steam- you really are missing out on superior stability and performance if you are still playing on disc, and most of the newer premium mods will be closed off to you without steam workshop access.

This is an obsolete version, because the Disc and GOG versions of the game haven't been patched and cannot run the newest version. If you have steam, everything you need is on the workshop and need not bother with this.

Look on Steam. ACM is one of the most subscribed and popular mods on the workshop. The mod will have to be essentially gutted to make it playable on disc and GoG. I will probably release a new version here that is compatible with these formats, but for now STEAM is the only way to experience the current version of the mod.

That's something that is actually planned for future releases- diversifying income by planet type. In addition to other changes, in future versions it will no longer be possible to build Financial Centers on every single planet.

Its related to corruption. In future versions we are going to just remove corruption completely so it will no longer be an issue.

The Consortium is always going to have a big advantage in terms of credits- corruption rakes in the cash. The achilles heel of the Consortium is their lack of high end firepower- they have relatively few ships that can match the Imperial and Rebel battlecruisers. Any advantages they seem to have early tend to get neutralized by late game in my experience.

You need to build an Underworld Tech center after the Underground Palace, and upgrade your tech the same way the Empire does, with buildable upgrades in the land unit queue.

Jedi Temple is in game, you just have to find the planets where you can build it. B-wing was in previous betas tearing through capitals like a buzzsaw, we'll investigate whether it needs a buff. Bug reports are best left on Discord.

More factions isn't on the docket, because it would absolutely murder performance. With big GC maps like this, there is very little chance it would be playable.

Not bad suggestions- but it will take a lot of testing to work out something like that, because we'll have to play around a lot with movement speeds and fleet movement distances. Adjustments to the GC map will be a continuing part of the mod's development, though.

The mando ships are supposed to be heavily armored "no-shield" ships, so that's by design. They will get some more attention later. Be sure to check out the newest 2.012 patch released just today! We'll investigate Forma and see what's up.

In time all of the substandard maps will be replaced. But getting 140 of them finished is going to take awhile. Luckily, we have virtuoso mapper RadicalEdward2 of the UGC:CE helping us out. Expect that one to be replaced sooner rather than later.
